What an amazing adventure. I love the tradition of bringing something such as biscuits to the site and that there are some flowers at the monument to tell that these brave men will never be forgotten. There's also another thing that is spectacular about this video, it's the beauty of the sky in the Middle of the Kazakhstan steppe, it's so breathtaking.
you are brave, Davide😅 it’s remarkable how all these deep post Soviet Union places have that unique meaning for you. Thank you, you’ve visited such remote places for us.
"The monument is somewhere .... in the middle of nowhere" ! that's an understatement ! As usual one of your most enjoyable (back-breaking) trip ! Keep up the good work 👏👏👏
This two part film has been excellent Davide; thank you so much for sharing your adventure with us (and a huge thanks to Rasuul too). There is so much trouble in the world at the moment but films like yours are a reminder of how much more we share in common with our fellow humans than the differences that keep us apart.
Wow.. David u made this amazing effort after last year's failure and I'm proud of you and can't thank you enough to taking us there with you on this amazing journey to visit this memorial. I wish I can stand there and touch the ground and salute the brave souls! David,, all glory to you, rasul and your French bud for braving to make this difficult trip!!! U da man!
This was an amazing video. The steppe looks absolutely beautiful if you know the background-story. I scenes and the cuts in the video are fitting to the topic of the video. Really great job you did there. Keep up the good work, but don't forget to rest sometimes. All the best, David! ❤👍
@25:25 How can you not be sure if you're going the right direction if you have GPS ? There's typically an arrow that shows your relative position to the target coordinates in virtually all apps.
In America and Canada, 80km (~50 miles) is a short distance to drive out into the countryside but I guess to Europeans that's a long drive? Although, that road was terrible so 50 miles on it probably felt like 500 miles 😆 anyway, I just came across your channel and watched part 1 last week so I'm glad you made it back to complete the mission!

Congratulations, you made it! The psych was funny but I'd seen the spoiler because I looked up the monument on google maps and saw your photos!

Congratulations on finally reaching the monument. It was sad to see the original was destroyed but I'm so glad you could finish what you started!
