As part of Festival of Libraries 2023 we held talks with creatives who have been inspired by libraries in their work.
Hear from David Scott about his new book, Mancunians. Mancunians fills in a gap in the history of Manchester little covered in mainstream publishing: Manchester on the brink of the millennium, and is an account of Manchester told through a mixture of memoir and interviews with well-known Mancunians such as Guy Garvey, Tunde Babayola, Sylvia Tella, Badly Drawn Boy and Stan Chow, combined with the unheard voices of the population. We’re thrilled that Dave Haslam joins David for this exciting chat presented in partnership with Manchester University Press.
