Oh, lovely! I was looking for a paint scheme for Ghostwalkers. While not in 10th, they're an awesome concept I want to explore further. Thanks for this.
Just found your channel, and im stoked, love your style and in depth explanation my friend! Also nice to have soemthing from someone down under! Chur from nz bro!
Amazing video! Have you ever considered putting together a summary PDF that shows the steps in a handy print out? Would be amazing, especially for all the eldar stuff you've done!
How would you do this same paint scheme on a model that has more armor like an Autarch? I was looking over your Aeldari paint schemes and I love them! I'm still new to painting, but I wanted to try to do something similar to what you have. For the armor panels would you just do similar to the cloak and boots/gloves of this model? I was thinking just do the same techniques on the edges of them, leaving the center empty to allow the black to show through. I tried looking at your Avatar of Khaine and it looked like on that you mainly just colored the raised areas blue. So i'm not sure what would look better.
Very good question! I think working with what you have to work with is your best option. As you said boots, gloves, larger armour panels etc. Perhaps limiting the amount of galaxy effects the smaller the area works well too. I have an example of this on my instagram - jayrhyetaplin If you scroll down to my post of my Shining Spears Exarch you will notice I did some galaxy effects on the helmet, however considering there wasn’t much space to work with its limited. But doing small features on some (but not all) of a smaller models armour plating, boots etc is certainly a great idea, so you were right on the money :)
@@DuskTilDawnPaintingTutorials ok awesome!! Just one more question, if you were going to do those scheme with a red galaxy effect how would you do it? I was thinking of going dark red and then doing similar to you and just going lighter and lighter until it’s white.
There is a severe lack of eldar content on youtube. You've done a great service to the craftworlds, Autarch.
1 - Chaos Black Undercoat
2 - Stegadon scale green
3 - Sotek Green
4 - Temple guard blue
Don't mind me ~

I think it was 2 days ago exactly where I was on your Instagram trying to examine your rangers and how you painted the eyes..
