    Another great video added to my favorites. I have all your vidoes in order on my pc. I learn the software based on your video's. The manual takes a lot of time. ( bit lazy to read ;-))) This week my husband wil upgrade my creator version to the full version.... i'm so happy. By the way....lso members of my family ( part of mother's side) emigrated to Tasmania in the 1950s. ( sry for grammatical errors)

    Thank you Carol for that feature. There are some great tools in v9.I have not received mine yet. I don't know when it is coming.
    I can't wait for it when it comes.

    Super helpful. Thank you so much! I was wondering why my design was trimming and I realized I put a running stitch about 5mm from the end point! Also appreciate the Branching tool tutorial and rationale!

      Yes, a crochet look can be achieved. I did do a Filet crochet lesson some years ago now as part of my Beginners Course 2 for V6 and V7. The process would be the same for the newer versions of the software as it is a very manual process. It is similar to digitizing free standing lace but instead of creating a mesh, a series of interlocking stitch blocks are created. I will do an updated version of that soon and offer it as a stand alone mini course. There is quite a lot involved.

    I cannot seem to make branching work for me. i can think how i would do it manually, but when i try to use the branching feature i get weird added HUGE sections of block stitching outside of my design, cannot figure out why!?

    But it goes 2 times around? , yust like blackwork?

    • @CarolUndy
      @CarolUndy  2 года назад +1

      No it just creates a single run outline underneath the design from one object to the start of another, and then continues to stitch as normal. Also, Blackwork run does not work with objects that are not outlines. Although my petals looked like satin outlines, because I had used the remove overlaps tool when digitizing them, they were in fact fill objects. I should have pointed this out in the video. Looks like a follow up video is needed.
