That snow bank you climbed up is the same size as the one i climbed on to go to school and back home and for fun since second grade. I feel like the midwest has prepared me for any type of weather.
I find it completely hilarious how bundled up you guys are! I'm from Winnipeg (in Manitoba, Canada) and I haven't been that bundled up in the winter since I was a kid lol
Like Hannah said, you need some wool socks, or wool stuff in general. I did an AmeriCorps program last year in which we worked outside in the woods in all types of weather and wool was amazing (if you get a wool blend they're not itchy). It maintains its warming capabilities even when wet, which is nice. I'm glad y'all are having fun!
Haha, I did the same thing when I went to Switzerland for New Years! As soon as I got there my boots got soaked, I went straight to the shops to buy snow boots. They were so expensive but soooo worth it!
Next time i'd suggest going to zumiez on the outlet section at the closing of the California Snow season and buy some some equipment. I know your not going snowboarding, but you can find some really great deals there for cheap. Or next time buy some first layer thermals, your reg cloths and then add a soft shell jacket and pants. The boots idk
OMG, IS THAT KRISTEN BELL AND DAX SHEPARD!! I LOVE THEM !! I didn't hear what you said first, but I just saw her, and was like: "that's her riiiight!?" so I got abck, and you/meg actually say KRISTEN BELL !! And she's sitting on her boyfriend, Dax Shepards lap!!! OMG!!!! :D
I remember going to Chicago some many years ago visiting my brother, and I was cold like crazy, but when I was walking to the park. I saw two guys wearing a t-shirt, shorts and tennis shoes, I was like Geezz. So yeah I know where your coming from.
It's less that people who live in colder climates own the proper clothing for being outside and more that we're just used to it. I grew up in a place where it snowed 18ft each winter and plenty of us just wore runners, jeans, and hoodies outside.
one time I went out to a place with snow for 3 days and I only had one pair of pants and one pair of boots and they got soaked and I kept falling and getting them more soaked. it sucked.
if you want boots that aren't soaking wet you need rubber ones or spray them with the wet repellent spray thing it works if you follow the instructions
:O I need those boots!!! They're so cool and I need to be prepared for the snow if it ever comes again!! Who was that!? It looked like Avril Lavigne or someone?? :/ I didn't hear :( Sorry :( I can't come to the Meet-up!! DX I think you should come to England, somewhere in Hampshire just to meet me >.< I was in France or Soul Survivor when you went to London :( I was so sad :(
I'm sorry, but I can't stop laughing at your outfit. Even when I had to go to school in -22 degrees F (-30 degrees C), I wasn't wearing that much layers. But you're doing the right thing - protect your neck and most importantly - keep your feet dry and warm, otherwise you can get sick soon. Have fun. :)
Lol everyone in Canada is like "THAT'S NOT COLD! IN CANADA ITS (insert temperature here) degrees" Oh Canada we love you and everyone in California are cold veterans. (:
I was working at the time of the football game, when i found out that 49ers lost by 3 points... I stopped what I was doing and I just stood there and had the saddest face ever... poop... :(
I know you guys find them bundling up ridiculous but we have to take into consideration that she (as well as me and anyone who lives in California or in a very warm climate) isn't used to extreme cold temperatures! :(
you can also wear plastic bags on your feet, like socks, before you put your shoes on. it helps if your shoes are soaking wet :)) just a suggestion from iceland
@kandyfreak393 Everyone does that, but it never snows where I live in canada, so I look at their comments and go WHAT! that's so cold. loll I am a cold veteran to. :)
It's awesome seeing all the snow! This saturday I'm taking a bus to France to go snowboarding and I'm SO EXCITED!
I'm from New England and having quite a bit of fun watching you guys go crazy over the cold, haha.
That snow bank you climbed up is the same size as the one i climbed on to go to school and back home and for fun since second grade. I feel like the midwest has prepared me for any type of weather.
Watching you guys who aren't used to snow weather try and stay warm is kind of hilarious.
I find it completely hilarious how bundled up you guys are! I'm from Winnipeg (in Manitoba, Canada) and I haven't been that bundled up in the winter since I was a kid lol

lol I live in Sweden (obviously a lot of snow and cold) and I've worn normal Converse Shoes all winter.
It's funny cause last week it was -47 celcius here and snowed like 5 times as much as it did there!! Yay winter xD
Haha, I did the same thing when I went to Switzerland for New Years! As soon as I got there my boots got soaked, I went straight to the shops to buy snow boots. They were so expensive but soooo worth it!

you would go crazy in Canada the snow here is awesome and one day it is snow and the next day rain welcome to Oshawa, Ontario
Next time i'd suggest going to zumiez on the outlet section at the closing of the California Snow season and buy some some equipment. Now thats twice we've found Jimmy hugging huge stuffed animals!
I remember going to Chicago some many years ago visiting my brother, and I was cold like crazy, but when I was walking to the park. I saw two guys wearing a t-shirt, shorts and tennis shoes, I was like Geezz. So yeah I know where your coming from.
is there a heater you could set your boots by? when our shoes/boots get wet we set them by the heater and they dry out. just a little plug in heater
It's less that people who live in colder climates own the proper clothing for being outside and more that we're just used to it. I grew up in a place where it snowed 18ft each winter and plenty of us just wore runners, jeans, and hoodies outside.
you look super epic climbing up that mountain of snow XD
Your vlogs are gonna be the thing that helps me though my week of exams! :D
The shoes are good if it's very very cold and the snow is not that wet. Winters in Poland are pretty cold. I know that kind of stuf so trust me. ;)

You get used to the cold after a while.

That'll teach you to bring Californian winter clothing to a northern state like Utah. :P
you should slide around like a penguin if you have cold feet, it's smart
I'm sorry, but I can't stop laughing at your outfit. Even when I had to go to school in -22 degrees F (-30 degrees C), I wasn't wearing that much layers.
But you're doing the right thing - protect your neck and most importantly - keep your feet dry and warm, otherwise you can get sick soon. Have fun. :)

I know you guys find them bundling up ridiculous but we have to take into consideration that she (as well as me and anyone who lives in California or in a very warm climate) isn't used to extreme cold temperatures! :(
@lifeburry I'm debating if I should give this video a thumbs up or down, the song didn't tell me!
@DaynaR12 Where do u live???
I want snow too ;A;
I thought Utah was a desert state until I saw this. However, I am from England.
I wear rain boots. They work quite well.
you can also wear plastic bags on your feet, like socks, before you put your shoes on. it helps if your shoes are soaking wet :)) just a suggestion from iceland

You should have gone to find Matthew Gray Gubler! Then took him home with you and sent him to me :)
Your redhead friend is soooooo beautiful!

@iovalyou Yes, they do keep them dry. But aren't your feet cold? You probably need to wear 2 pairs of wool socks then, or something...
