After almost a year in the works, we finally visited Park City, Utah for three days and had the time of our lives! Have you ever been? It’s one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever been to. The people, the food, the mountains, all of it, were absolutely stunning.
This is part one, where we first get to our home away from home, eat some delicious food, do yoga inside a geothermal crater, and ski for the first time! Stay tuned for part two!

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City and went to Park City often mostly durning the summer. I was never much of a skier. If you thought Park City was charming you should of seen it before all the condos were built. I was up there 50 years ago. It was nice to see snippets of the area. My partner was a home health aid and his company had their annuall meeting at Homestead one year. It was wonderful.

@@ThePropertyLovers There is nothing like the absence of normal sounds in a heavy snow. BUT, thanks guys. Nice to see, I will hang here in the Yucatan Peninsula and be very happy. Today we hit 85° F (Yes, January 21, 2020!) And that is cool for us!!

I’ve only been there in the summer, as I do not like cold and snow, but it did look really pretty! It definitely looked different in the summer.

The scenery is spectacular like out of a Walt Disney wonderland movie. The food served like a royal banquet and looks so delicious! Thomas, we miss your longer hair, PJ, your hair is fine. What a luxury suite you stayed in. I know you two really enjoyed your trip. Walt in Miami

Looks like so much fun! Having lived in Georgia my whole life I’ve never experienced so much snow like that but I would love it. Never been skiing either but hopefully at some point I can get out west and hit the slopes! 🎿

we've always thought of Stockholm as a very snowy place! been dying to go. we have a house sitter who takes care of all our animals for us (love her so much) and the kids were staying with PJ's mom!

A little sad when trying to relax is so exhausting but fun.
Gilbert Salazar every single person we met in Utah was overwhelmingly nice. We didn’t meet one person who wasn’t extremely sweet. We love Utah!!!

Beautiful place, very charming. How cold was it? This morning in Ottawa, it was -4F (-20 Celsius) but with the wind factor, it was equivalent to -16F (-27 Celsius). Not as cold as last week in Alberta and Saskatchewan, they were getting some -22F (-30 Celsius) and -40F (-40 Celsius). 🥶

PJ and THOMAS yes, no problem, we dress accordingly. That’s winter in Canada, we get used to it. You would too 😏. You should go ski in Banff or Lake Louise, quite beautiful.

It’s fun to watch the bits and pieces of a trip like this on your Instagram stories, and then to be able to watch a video that ties it all together. I think I would have practically passed out trying to do yoga in that kind of heat and humidity (or maybe trying to do yoga, period). And you are braver man than I am when it comes to trying to ski. I worked for three months at a dinner theater in Winter Park, Colorado years ago, and though it was a ski area and there was snow on the ground the whole time I was there, I never once got on skis. In fact, the thought of it absolutely terrifies me! But all the snow looks really beautiful, and that condo is massive!
Lane it is pretty intimidating at first, but honestly it's so much fun and the thrill takes over and you just go for it!! you could totally do it! xx
