You have to have your feet strapped in so you can pull up on the pedels to do tricks and to stop by skidding. It is also very hard to have a good pedle stroke on fixed gear with out strapps
Jack Gowen Being strapped in helps but it's not essential. Gear ratio is more important. Running a 52/13 set-up or 47/19 is more likely to determine whether you can treat your 26er like a bmx or not.
Not sold anymore. Was made by bombtrack. Better off just buying a 26 bmx cruiser with Neg bb and converting it to fixed. You can still buy fixed 9t driver hubs online
Right? Like is he velcro strapped to the pedals? I swear it is if you slow it down. Never does a crankflip or whip or bails with one foot. Is it normal to wear clips in the bigger wheeled bmx scene?
Can anybody tell me why so many people ride the dash? Especially since the availability of the in the US is almost none, why not buy a good 26er bmx with nearly the same geometry and just replace or weld the rear hub?
I don't understand having a fixed cog for this kind of riding. All the tricks are the same as bmx, except dorky looking. This dude is definitely sick tho.
I just got a 26 inch Haro I used to ride 20 inch BMX back in the day and I like the size of it. I'm 47 now and having fun!

yes on fixed gear bikes you have to have your feet strapped in because you can't coast at all
I dont see what that has to do with strapping your feet to the pedals...just pedal
