I love the idea of nextcloud. And as a Cloud Professional I expected easy processes using it in my homelab\private use. Sadly I dripped out because of the really bad OOB experience regarding setting up migration, backup and restore scenarios and their installs may work smooth with snap, but everything else looked like a high-school project. I don't want a team to manage this - and the learning curve is much steeper than so many similar projects four your de-googling efforts. Back to syncthing with webdav + caldav. YMMV.
Nicco's accents and pronunciation never lets me down. Whenever I feel sad or depressed, I watch one of his videos. It makes my day.
