Awesome recipe my mouth is watering. I love the way you explained using some words of konkani, it's like adding spices to it. Love you and God Bless You
Well prepared 👍I remembered my Mom preparing (shrimp )galmbi chuttney often & her chuttney was so very tasty, just like how you have prepared authentic Mangalorean style. I missed my Mom looking at this chuttney & will surely prepare this yummy, lovely 😋mouthwatering chuttney.
Well explained. Surely it's tasty tempting. Pl let us know if we want to send abroad or preserve for longer time what should we do? We can avoid coconut. Any other suggestions, our people abroad would like to have it
Thank you Sefra! My auntie used to make this for Dad and he would give me some. I love it on cheese sandwiches! 😀 subscribed. Her’s was not dry. I wonder if it was an oil added? Any thoughts?
Hi.. I just needed to say this.. although I am not a fan of your channel I have to a admit I love watching your mama❤️ Her candid demeanor and her typical mama style is adorable
Thanks s lot for the love and appreciation 😀 my mom also has her separate channel "Marielyn Correa", she has been recently uploading recipes on her channel, you can follow her 😀
Much love from Mauritius🇲🇺 to Mangalore🇮🇳. Over here my mum cleans, roasts and coarse grinds these tiny shrimp in a food processor. Sets the paste aside. She then separately does the same with garlic, chillies, lots of coriander leaves and tomatoes. Starts frying this paste in a lot of olive oil. When half cooked she adds the coarse shrimp paste and then cooks some more until a bit dried out, oil comes on top (and tiny holes form in the thick tomato sauce). Adds more chopped coriander and it's done! She spreads it thinly all over a hot chapati and serves.
Thank you for your moms recipe .i ll try out the same ok.Thank you for the love and your appreciation,..much needed in my cooking spree..love and regards from me and my extended family ..Stay blessed and healthy
@@MarielynCorrea We spread this _red chutney_ on a yellow handkerchief-thin chapati. It is yellow and soft due to addition of cooked & ground-down Chana dhal inside the dough balls before rolling. We call the cooked product "dhol-puris." I always wanted to know where we copied this from in India and what it's original Hindi name is.
Nice to know that aunty is from mangalore 😍👌. I had heard about the green chilli paste for galmbi chutney, never tasted, need to try this. We have always had the red masala only. Sefra pls post a link to auntys channel

Lovely..... u could have use red chilly instead of green though it leads to gastric... and s i liked the way u prepared chutney... infact my mouth was watering....
I live in an appartment in kota, as a northeast I love eating fish, shrimp, bamboo shoot etc..etc ...but my neighbour were angry they complaint about the smell and tell me to stop eating it.. I choose to left the appartment with those negetive comments behind.
Oh my god .its fine dear take it with a pinch of salt .you must understand every bodys food habits ok .but dont forget to enjoy your longings and likeings .god bless you
close ur house- all doors , windows etc . cook eat then apply room freshner (strong one). nobody ll complain. nobody complains just like that . my neighbor too cooks smelly food and uses loud speakers n dhols everyday , its really annoying. spraying airfresher in my house doesnt work bcoz smell keeps on coming. so it must be stopped at source.
Ma'am is it possible to skip the coconut or mix the coconut when serving the portion. Coconut has a tendency of getting stale after a few days and the stale taste and smell is so bad that no one can eat it.
Thank you Ma'am for sharing this. Its just lovely, reminded me of my childhood jn mangalore
