Hasbro did a better job getting her face right, her WWE figures from mattel cant get the face scan to look like her. The only thing wrong the black series did was the hight, she should be shorter than Bo-Katan but that seems to be a common issue in the black series. Its not that big of a deal because this figure looks great

Great review! I’m excited about this wave, whenever it shows up here in Canada. I preordered all of it and it looks like a lot of the figures from the wave have sold out already, other than the poor perennial peg warmer Lando 😀.
Nice review! I painted Bo Katan's vent in the back of the helmet a nice metallic silver. I saw that it was not painted blue in the Mandalorian. I think Koska's is supposed to be blue in the back, but it's hard to tell. Again, great review.
She indeed runs around with ONE Blaster in the show, only Bo-Katan does the dual wield blasters thing. I would bet money that it was cheaper to throw in a 2nd Pistol and just re-use the Bo-Katan packaging instead of making a new plastic prison only to have one less Pistol in there (penny pinching!). I would have added the new E22 Blaster Rifle instead of the 2nd Blaster, there is a pretty prominent scene with her holding one when they steal that weapons Shipment, that look is absolutely worth replicating. I only have one E22 from my Scarif Squad Leader ... i wouldn't mind having one or two more. They are used a lot in the Mandalorian, they must have made tons of when filming Rogue One so they have a lot of props to go around on the new Shows now. I have all the Mando figures but my only E22 came from a Rogue One Archive figure... if Etsy wouldn't mean importing stuff i'd just buy a few 3d printed ones.

From what I understand, the Nite Owls are female. Bo and Koska have the Nite Owl logo on their shoulders, Axe does not. Also their t-visors are different. However, yes I absolutely want Axe Woves! -Justin

What I don’t get is how Hasbro gives her 2 trigger finger hands and 2 blasters when she only uses 1 but they give Tech 1 trigger finger hand and 1 blaster when he uses 2.
Great review Justin! Even though this is essentially the same mold, I think they look great next to each other. I’m glad you pointed out that the helmets are different I wouldn’t have noticed. Today is January 16 and my Koska arrived yesterday from GameStop. It’s easy to pre-order from them but sometimes it takes a while. I’m still waiting on tech, wrecker, night brother, the 501st archive wave and 2 junptroopers lol. I know it’s just pandemic... and they did actually give me a discount to honor the current sale price. And I did get it eventually and I didn’t pay scalper prices. But waiting six months sucks. I think I'll just buy another No Katan and pretend it's her. The single holster is lazy and cheap. That is to say, the toy remains true to her character, she's less interesting than Bo Katan
The single holster is actually not lazy at all, it's accurate to the show. She actually only uses one blaster/holster in the show so I look at the extra blaster as an extra blaster. We always blame Hasbro for doing something inaccurate and call it lazy, I don't think it's fair to call them lazy for something that is actually accurate. Thanks for watching, Paul! -Justin
The reasoning behind not liking the figure because it only has one holster doesn’t make any sense when the character it’s based on canonically only has one holster
This character in general is lazy. The one holster is ridiculous when the figure comes with two pistols. Not even a peg or a bored out hole in which to place weapon #2. The backpack is uninspired with minimal paint. The bo katan figure is better in every single way.

It still bugs me that Hasbro were 100% lazy with the reuse of the Bo Katan mould. The lower legs are totally inaccurate to the show.

And yes, the single holster is accurate to the show, she actually only uses one blaster in the show as well. I don't think it's fair to call them lazy for something that is actually accurate. I think I'll just buy another No Katan and pretend it's her. The single holster is lazy and cheap. That is to say, the toy remains true to her character, she's less interesting than Bo Katan
The single holster is actually not lazy at all, it's accurate to the show. She actually only uses one blaster/holster in the show so I look at the extra blaster as an extra blaster. We always blame Hasbro for doing something inaccurate and call it lazy, I don't think it's fair to call them lazy for something that is actually accurate. Thanks for watching, Paul! -Justin
The reasoning behind not liking the figure because it only has one holster doesn’t make any sense when the character it’s based on canonically only has one holster
This character in general is lazy. The one holster is ridiculous when the figure comes with two pistols. Not even a peg or a bored out hole in which to place weapon #2.
The backpack is uninspired with minimal paint.
The bo katan figure is better in every single way.
