I absolutely love this guy. I thought he looked way too old in the promo pics, but in hand he looks way better with only the beard being a bit too white. Definitely one of my favorites this year.

Well that comes as a surprise. The US seem to always be the first one to get all the new and cool stuffs while the rest of the world waited with bated breath. Had mine for a good 3 months now.
Nice review and I agree with all that you say on the painting. I guess we can just touch it up with paint here n there and make it our little unique piece.
Canada gets plenty of things before the US as well! Like GameStop exclusives and even Walmart exclusives. -Justin

Awesome figure Justin.I know i bang on about the deluxe pricing, but this is a classic example, filling out the box with fresh air! Saying that, this figure is great, the paint apps are amazing on the armour and helmet, fantastic detail with a great likeness head sculpt, very, very nice figure, one of my favourites in the BS line.Thank you for an awesome review.I have had my Cobb for around 5 months or so i think

Honestly I prefer to get the Book of Boba version without the armor. I really hope they do that. It would be mostly reuse of this figure. He looks cool with the armor but he just looks like a Boba poser. Lol
There have been people out there who have removed the torso overlay and it actually wouldn't work. They'd need to at least sculpt a new torso for an un-armored look. Which they absolutely could do! Thanks for checking out the review, Colt 45. -Justin
I literally just unboxed mine earlier today. The right gauntlet on mine had a piece loose specifically the part that juts out connecting to the tubes on the arm, but I've since glued it back into the tab. I think the flame effects for the jetpack and an effect to convey the missile launching from the jetpack would've gone a long way to justify the deluxe pricing.
Still, I really like this figure, whilst they're overpriced this and the Throne room Boba Fett are probably my top two figures in the line this year so far.

I got mine in the mail on Thursday. You said everything I was thinking about this figure. It’s awesome but needed the flame effects. I also think they can pack the accessories on the back like the boba Fett from the orange line. Great review Justin.

Don’t forget about the lack of paint on jet thruster of the backpack. It’s all plain white compared to Fett’s.

Got mine today from Star Action Figures along with the Jedi Ruins Fett (same paint on armour) and ROTJ Fett. I do like it but it could do with some more paint on the bottom half. It looks like it will be easy to add some more silver, gold to it. I will get a couple of gold and silver paint markers. I think the weapons also could do with some some dry brushing and make them even better.
My main concern was the jet pack looking too different to the Mandorian. I would prefer the jets being silver and the 2 white bits either side of the rocket. The yellow shoulders could do with more silver especially around the edges.

Great review! You have a point there regarding the paint job that should’ve been addressed in a deluxe. I just picked up the deluxe Saw Guerrera today and it is a similar case w awesome sculpt ,but let me take a second look to see whether they miss many paint details.

Great figure the head looks great on Cobb some of them came early in Canada but sadly i didn't get mine till yesterday from gamestop came thru late no worries i actually forgot about it call my gamestop came in pickup and them watched your vid for a second opinion good figure small gripes no issues good purchase thanks for the vid

I think the figure overall looks fine, but the lack of paint for the price is unacceptable. If he ever goes on sale I might consider it (like the price of a regular figure the way it should've been) but otherwise, it's a pass for me

Hello Justin a great figure review video 👍. I thought about preordering this figure but I didn't. First the price, second I'm not a Boba fan and yes he isn't Boba but close enough, and third I haven't seen any of these new series yet. I don't have Disney+ so I'm not committed to any of the new figures although I have purchased many of them. Any of the new figures that look good I'll usually order. Anybody notice the equipment hook on the belt yet? It’s similar to what a Jedi would have to hang his hilt. I watch the review thoroughly and I don’t think you’ve mentioned it Justin. I have the figure and I don’t see any accessory that would fit on it.

Yea Justin I agree with your notes about the paint apps. If this was a $22-$25 figure I could see it, but with the higher price point I’d expect more detail. I do love the figure tho in spite of that. Proportions are perfect. Excellent review, as always. Thanks. 👍🏻

Sweet! Another long delayed figure I hope gets fulfilled by fan channel. Amazon being a world conglomerate got theirs first, which seems to be the trend lately, but I’m a bit jittery that Dorkside/EE/BBTS are going to stiff us. I’m struggling to sleep with Lucas Stormtrooper and now this one hanging by a thread. Nice and honest review! That lack of “paint apps”, that we’re all paying a premium for, just proves once again how awful Hasbro has become. Shove basic figures into a deluxe box, charge more for paint, and then don’t paint it properly…🤦🏻♂️. Good grief. Gonna try now and get some sleep. Maybe tomorrow’s the day I get my shipping notice for Lucas Stormy and/or Cobb Vanth…. 😴 💤

Been wanting this figure for a while. Saw him on sale here in the UK so just ordered him today. I know late to the party.😁 I love the character and the look of this figure.
I'll add the silver details myself and maybe a deep red shade wash to his tunic.
Like you and others have said at full price he needed the jet pack and flame thrower effects. Deluxe Boba had them. All flying figs need a flight stand too.
