Benson has devoted much of the past 30 years to rail photojournalism and is widely acknowledged as one of the world's top railway photographers. Ted Benson is a wonderful person, and a great man to talk about trains with, he has attended several presentations I have shown at the Western Railway Museum. He still gets out, and is still shooting black and white film!
