Amu cuts a better circle by hand than I can with a band saw. I love all his projects but this is one I must make and hang in my garden. You make it look very easy but I bet it isn't. Love it!

As quiet and sweet as grandpa is, it would be hysterical if he ever broke a delicate piece and started cussing in Chinese, throwing stuff. That would be me but I'm not as peaceful as he.
Love it. I love the yin yang and it's great to see it in 3D like that. Everything in balance but dynamic and ever changing, and also cyclical. I find it fascinating how he can cut such delicate pieces like this using that pretty coarse toothed saw. I would need a super fine blade and would still break it. Also, there was a close up of the piece and I actually blew the dust off it. I mean, I literally blew on my phone. I guess that means I was captivated by his work 😀❤️
When I was a kid I had to work bench, but couldn't afford a vice. I thought I was so very clever when I figured out to poke a hole in the top of the workbench and use a rope, long enough to step on and hold the workpiece. Grandpa Amu takes it to Rockstar levels!!!
I think the baby still does not quite see and realize things yet maybe after he gets older 6 to 8 years old will really appreciate grandpa's wood toys that are so cool 😊

I thnk things are not easy to do just taking a saw and piece of wood or bamboo. This man has a extraordinary capacity to work with his hands but he must have previously designed, studied, measured what objet to work before the video recording. Anyway, I repeat, his talent is remarkable.
That jatoba looking piece must've been a hard saw...burned even by hand. If it's like the African mahogany I've worked with it's a very dense and difficult wood, but grandpa cuts a perfect circle making it look easy. Love love these videos.
Finally I knew why there's always outrageous dislikes for this treasure channel, because in the end grandpa always says "if u like this thing u can make urself one". Some idiots take it as an offense.
