easyJet Airbus A319 Full Flight: Geneva to Manchester (With ATC)

- A full, uncut flight with easyJet, onboard Airbus A319 HB-JYF operating flight EZY1950 from Geneva to Manchester on 29 May 2015. Every minute included from boarding to deboarding, as well as ATC for the departure from Geneva.
The video begins at a remote stand in Geneva, with us boarding the aircraft. After a short delay while waiting for more passengers to board, we get on our way, taxying to runway 23 and departing, getting a wonderful view of the mountains and Swiss countryside. We climb to 38,000ft, routing towards Paris, then London and commencing our descent over the Nottingham area, across the Peak District for an arrival on runway 23R at Manchester.

A video pearl, from start to the end. Love this sonorous deep buzzing from the A319 engines, when running at high altitudes, as around 51:00. Floods the whole airplane with comforting, gentle bass vibes.

I too love this. I was on an nearly 30 year old A320 recently and I sat right about there and due to the headwinds, the older model engines it had were cranked to full power for the whole cruise filling the cabin with a relaxing hum that actually was quite loud though not uncomfortable. The newer A320s like this one seem significantly quieter.

I love the deep hum these engines make at cruise. It helps me sleep far better than the latest quietest plane would.
The Airbus aircraft make a lovely sound at cruise, not as tinny as a lot of other aircraft :)

Another great video, and I love that you don't feature music during these full flight videos, too. Sometimes, if I'm taking a nap, music can startle me awake too soon. What's funny, this video came on right in time for me to feed Zahara my Guide Dog. Right on schedule at 7 Pm. I love those engines at takeoff. I wonder if you'll be flying in the A-380 anytime soon?

In my experience, the A320 family planes are very smooth landers.

If it was with the HB registration then the flight was EZS1950 EZY is regular easyJet whereas EZS is easyJet Switzerland.
David Pinhal It was HB registered, I was expecting a G- registered aircraft and was surprised it was operated by the Swiss arm, although the callsign on ATC was 'EASY' rather than 'TOPSWISS'.

Hi, it's the actual ATC of the flight :) ATC on this video is synced from LiveATC.net archives after the flight. My more recent videos have ATC throughout the flight from GlobalTuners and onboard scanner where permitted. inflight Video Nice, and you just guessed where it all went in the video? Good work, either way, but how did you record audio from liveATC when you were on the plane, EasyJet don't have wifi do they?
+EasyPCUK I use the audio from their archives and when I'm editing my video I sync the time with the actual flight time from FR24. It's very easy to put say the 1030 archive to start at 1030 in the video, then mute the parts that don't apply. Hope that helps :-)

+CL gamers The stock battery only lasts around an hour, but I have external battery packs that give me up to around 36 hours of video, perfect for long haul flights :)

i thought the a319 was bigger than the 737 but then I realised it's just higher up.
+Tim Roth I never thought about it until k started collecting models, and the A32x stands a bit taller than the 737. I think it's a bit wider too, but not noticeably so from outside.

inflight Video nope it's an a320. A319s only have one emergency exit at the wing not two.
