Bill it is a great idea to use another fly tyer to make the flies. You are a great salesman, but while trying to sell products, it is difficult to concentrate on the tying if you are not used to doing both. So I really enjoy this tyer and the work he has accomplished. Absolutely beautiful fly!
Great video, beautiful fly. Bill you're funny when your not infront of the camera. You put on a very serious face when you do your fly tying videos. You guys seem to have a good time doing this though. Love the river background as well, hope to see you at the 2013 fly tying expo in Albany!
Just want to clarify the name of the originator of the Green Butt Skunk. Dan Callahan, not Culligan. Besides coming up with the Green Butt Skunk variation he was a very fine photographer. I remember in the 70's and 80's his van being at a run at dawn and thinking shoot, someone beat me to it only to find Dan set up with his tripod waiting for the right light. A very fine fellow.
One of the few decent videos on YT
This is the best looking version of a Green Butt Skunk I've ever seen. Great instruction as well. Thanks.
such a beautiful fly
Very nice thanks....A version? Its almost a whole new pattern. Looks tasty, excellent!!!
