In kpop, a "comeback" is every time an artist or group drops new music or an album! Stray kids actually drop a lot of music very often at such a fast pace, they have a huge discography with a lot of variety. It's even more impressive with the fact that they write and produce all their own music aside with occasional producer assistance. Thanks for your reaction! It made me super happy to see u check out this album or theirs! They are super talent, goofy, humble and have a lot respect & care for their fans. They are also super supportive of other artists too and are excellent perfomancers! Btw our fandom name for Stray kids is "stay" because we make stray kids stay
Stray kids are leaders of 4th gen in k-pop, just behind the big ones from 3rd gen (bts, blackpink). And with this comeback, they've broken many personal records, 4th gen records and one really big one with having the most pre-ordered albums in history of K-pop (5,13 million). They've been underrated for a long time, but so far 2023 has been their year ❤
I like the way you are chilling out listening to this, some channels are so over the top when they react, you don’t have to do that to enjoy Stray Kids, this is my vibe!!!
I'm glad that you enjoyed the album! I haven't stopped listening to it haha I've been listening to kpop for 14 years and Stray Kids really impressed me, never heard a group like them. For the first time I'm even collecting their albums because they're so good haha. Something I love about them is their versatility, they really love what they do and have fun with music, even producers that have worked with them say they are so talented. "Time Out" was released last year and it was a gift for the fandom anniversary :)... if you want to listen to more slow songs I recommend: -Neverending Story -Secret Secret -Sorry I Love You -Mixtape OH -Scars, to name a few "The Sound" was released as a Japanese song first and it has a music video is you want to react to it too^^ their Japanese releases are also so good! -All In -Circus -TOP -Slump
the last comeback was 8 months ago. That album received a lot of achievements as well, that's their 2nd album to debut #1 in billboard, now this album is also projected to debut #1 and if that happens... this will be their 3rd consecutive again consecutive album to do so. That's how good stray kids albums are.
I’m drunk and had a blast listening to the album along with you 😂 I’m not a slow music person but Youtiful almost made me cry. Like. I needed it. My other favorite slow/slowish songs by SKZ are: Slump (the regular studio version and live First Take version are both amazing) Because (Changbin and Felix) Winter Falls Volcano (Han) Close (Han) Limbo (Lee Know; I had to give this one a few listens before it clicked) Love Untold (Hyunjin) Anyway, thanks! This was a great time 😁
"comeback" is just the general term for when a kpop group/artist drops a new song/album, it doesnt mean that they have been gone for a while. they dropped a mini album previous to 5-star called "maxident" in october last year.
27:50 this is what we mean when we say felix can also sing high as well as low because this is actually his voice, his solo song Deep End shows off his voice very well if you're interested
The term “comeback” is used when a Kpop artists brings out a new album or song everytime it happens so not bc it’s been a long while generally bc it’s a whole new era of that group/soloist. Also there last comeback (so album) was in October last year I mean that’s a fall on korean album but December 2022 they released skz replay which is fall of songs they have made in the past (mostly solo songs or a couple members in them) and they each made a new solo song which is situated in there too then on the 9th of February this year they released a full Japanese album called “the sound” which has one Japanese song from the past and the rest are all new. After that it was obvs 5-star. Just to say the one that came out in October is actually called “maxident” and the title track is called case 143 which you should go check out (143 means I love you) and it’s like there first love sort of era idk how explain it but it has different styles of songs which fit perfectly and have there own racha songs in maxident too. Bc in skz they have 3racha which is more of the rapping/ producing team which has been a sub unit since start of 2017 so a year before they debuted in 2018, then members in this sun unit is Han,bangchan and changbin. Also there Song in this album is literally of the same name 3racha then danceracha which by the name it literally mean the main dancer which is the members felix, hyunjin and lee know and they have there own song called taste which is absolutely amazing then the last racha is vocal racha and yet again by the name they are the main vocalists and the members are I.N and Seungmin and their song in this album is cant stop. Honestly the more you get into straykids the more further you get away of getting out of the loophole bc they have just amazing performances choreography, discography literally everything also I recommend checking out maybe a guide of stray kids like an updated one from 2023 or if not 2022/21 and it just tells you abt the members individually and you can get an insight of what there personality is actually like not just from the visuals and voices!! I’m so glad you are reacting to stray kids bc they are legit my favs and you have such a good reaction so thank you very much for that! Extra info- Bangchan and felix and Australlian so if you here in any song an Aussie accent then it will be one of them Lastly, they are a self producing team they produce, write every song especially 3racha. 🫶🏼🫶🏼
Their discography you won’t find anywhere else. Theirs no one with their sound. Thanks for the reaction ☺️ it’s also been 8 months since they’ve released something😂
Love that you loved all the songs on the album! Stray Kids has a huge range of different types of songs and personally i think they have a no-skip discography 😅. They also have crazy live performances and their personalities behind the scenes and on interviews and variety shows is so fun to watch! Not to meantion they all write and produce every single song of theirs plus the leader, Bang Chan, formed the group himself (which never happens in kpop)! Glad to see a new stay appreciating their talent!
glad you enjoyed :) i hope you get to listen to more of their stuff because good ass music isn't a new thing from them, they've been around since 2017/18 and have a huge discography. they're also hugely involved in the process of making their music, from writing to producing and recording. their last korean mini album came out in october last year, and it got them a huge amount of attention globally. they always drop gold!!
I'm sure Stay and the kpop fans have told you that comeback in kpop just refers to the group dropping something new with marketing to back it. Stray Kids dropped a full Japanese album in February and 3 other albums in that 12 month span. This group of young men is self produced and every member can sing, dance, and rap. Their discography is over 160 songs deep and their producing unit (3 members calling themselves 3Racha) have had a hand in almost every single track. Truly they have something for everyone. They are masters at wordplay (there's deeper meaning in every lyric) and the producing unit are absolute music geniuses. Of that deep 160+ track discography, I can listen to just about everything. If you like Collision, try Chill off their Maxident album, Lost Me off The Sound, and I Am You. They do have quite a few melodic tunes: Secret Secret, Sorry I Love You, Waiting for Us, Ex, Slump, Scars, etc. There's an anthem for every occasion and a bop for whatever party you want. Thanks for the props. These guys are legit. They have more recognition and are constantly breaking records, but people still are sleeping on Stray Kids.
Thanks for the reaction! I had a great time just vibing with you and listening. For B-sides, I think you'd really enjoy Tortoise and the Hare, Muddy Water, Heyday, and 3Racha. Do those with lyric videos so you get the lyricism they have, as well as figuring out whose part is what. Super Bowl is kind of a sequel to God's Menu, with the cooking theme. FNF is about the wildfires/bushfires in Australia and the devastation they caused. Felix and Bang Chan are both Australian and wrote it as a tribute song and to express their feelings about all the wildlife and plants that burned. Overall, I haven't been this impressed by an entire album in a long time. Oh and I don't know if you noticed it, but in S-Class right after the opening into the stripped back transition, the beat for Venom drops.
If you want a few other groups to check out, Ateez also hits pretty hard. TXT has a afro-beats bop with Tinnitus. (g)I-dle has queen rapper Soyeon. Xdinary Heroes is a rock based k-pop band. NewJeans is a girl group that has a very 90s vibe. Ghost9's title tracks have some dubstep influence. Seventeen just released an absolute bop with Super. NCT DoJaeJung has a nice R&B vibe. I could go on for days 😅
Comeback means something different for Korea. Its really just a new release. These fools have realeased 4 albums in the last year. 😅 This is their 3rd full studio album. They had a full Japanese album in January, before that was a mini album Maxident, and a huge compilation album called Replay that was all songs that they've had out on youtube unofficiallly released and new stuff too.
Great reaction, I didn’t ecpect you to like those type of songs like collision and youtiful! If you want to check some slower songs from skz I’d recommend these ones-secret secret, ex, sorry i love you, M.I.A, never ending story, 19, another day- they have posted videos for most of these!
they have good songs and also, you should see the another mv - Freeze - Case 143 - Domino lyrics , '"dance practice" - Cheese - Super Board - Easy - Miroh - Hellevator - Christmas EveL - Circus - The sound - All in - Chill - Give me your TMI - The sound - Double knot - My pace - Victory song - 3racha (Bangchan, Changbin, Han) - Muddy Water (Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix) And others 🔥🔥🔥🔥
First time I've seen the power of Felix's voice break a chair haha - this was great! Edit* If you like "Collision" you should def check out more of Han (he's one of the producers/songwriters for SKZ and a member of 3RACHA). His solo work is so good! He's considered an Ace because he sings, raps, dances, writes, produces - can really do it all (which truthfully all the members can) "Volcano" and "I Got It" are my favorite songs of his because they're just so different.
Thank you so much for your genuine reaction. I like how you were completely immersed and not distracted. You have earned a sub, and I can't wait to hear future reactions. Thanks again! If you like more of their slower songs you definitely have to check out never ending story. It is beautiful! Secret Secret is another really good slow one as well. They have so many genres in their disography. This is what I love about them. This album is an adventure. Its art. Previous albums especially their older albums were all about being lost and the struggles you go through in life. No one song or album is the same. I think you would enjoy their disography.
Superbowl was completely in English that's probably why I sounded familiar 😂 their last comeback was last October with their Maxident album but it was mostly unit songs
in kpop albums are called comebacks and groups often release 2-3 comebacks a year unlike western artists. But yeah this one was definitely different from their usual stuff. Stray kids usually like to stay humble but they stated that this album is worth the expectation.
Officially subscribed!! I seriously love your reactions, and im really happy ur taking a look into stray kids music.. Stray kids create music thats gets you hype, southes the soul, and just makes you question why u havent listened earlier loll..i hope u continue to show them love, thank u for the reaction!!!
It was great vibing with u!!! I could feel your genuine appreciation for this body of work! If you like Collision and Youtiful, then check out: Deep end (solo by Felix) Waiting for us Chill Neverending story Phobia Sorry I love you Secret secret Taste (Lee know, Hyunjin & Felix) Run (solo by Han) Red Lights (Bang Chan & Hyunjin) Gone away (Han, Seungmin & IN)
Re: ballads / stuff like “Youtiful” - look up “Waiting for Us,” it’s really lovely. My favorite stuff is usually stuff like Thunderous, Venom, Hall of Fame, Item - but they have some really nice “pretty” songs too. I also think you should look up “Connected” (Bang Chan solo song, put out on the Replay album), for roughly the same reasons you’d like “Collision.” “Up All Night” is also fun!
Stray Kids is such an amazing group to be a fan of as someone who is into all sorts of music styles and genres. They can really pull off any genre and they have. I personally have never listened to a Stray Kids song that I didn't like. One thing I love about Stray Kids is that they're self produced so every song is personalized for them from the lyrics to the beat and everything is really coming from the heart. For example, their song "FNF" stands for "Fauna and Flora" and is dedicated to all the fauna and flora lost in the Australian bushfires back in 2019/2020 and it was written and produced by the two Australian members Felix and Bang Chan. Stray Kids is really just a great group to be into since they're so genuine in their music as artists.
I loved the reaction! I appreciate you taking the time to listen and watch everything even at 1 in the morning lol. I also really like that you enjoyed the slower and poppy songs like Time Out too :)))) I can't rank this album either but this is definitely their best one yet, can't wait to watch more :D
Also - thanks for making this, man. It was really enjoyable to just sort of vibe with you, haha. Sometimes that doesn’t really come through when people do these sorts of reaction videos, but this was great 👍
their last album The Sound was a japanese release and had lots of ballad songs, before that was Maxident which had lots of different genres of song which all had a theme of love and breakups. their music covers over 20 different genres, including one they made, and no two songs are the same its very impressive
They also released a Japanese album (The Sound) in January. Their Japanese albums also have great songs, my favorites from the Sound besides the title track were Battleground and DLMLU. They came to America after that and I was disappointed that they didn’t perform any of the Sound, but I guess I could see why they wouldn’t, but Battleground would be fire live!!
I remember reading somewhere that kpop groups that release japanese albums can't perform the songs outside of Japan which is why they release the japanese and the korean language versions.
"Comeback" in the K-Pop world means something different than its usual meaning. In K-Pop, it means their newest album release or newest big project, even if only 6 months have passed since their last "comeback." Some K-Pop groups (like Stray Kids) have been known to release 2-3 "comebacks" in a single year.
loved the reaction😃their last album was dropped 8 months ago...also superbowl sounds familliar cus it was the original god's menu they changed the title to god's menu last minute 3 years ago
hear me out; 1. Taste 2. Red Lights 3. God’s Menu 4. Easy 5. Charmer 6. Waiting For Us 7. The View Thank me later. SKZ are probably one of the dopest most versatile artists in this generation i’m not even being dramatic. they’re the only who got me into liking kpop ngl.
31:43 they have a couple more songs like this a good bit of them , youtiful silent cry and secret secret are some of my favorites (honorable mention levanter *chefs kiss* )
when a kpop group has a new album it's called a comeback, stray kids' last official comeback was in october, but they had a japanese comeback in february
What i like so much in Stray Kids music it's the fact that if you are honest you can't said that you don't like any song in their album because it's so divers❤
Some say album is quite evenly split between two vibes more hip hop and dance they have added some older songs stay have been waiting for release like super bowl was originally meant to be Gods Menu but they swapped it last minute for Gods Menu (tech Gods Menu 2.) If you want mvs atm there is only The sound and Time out have mvs as already released songs. There are Unveil tracks for this album for DLC, FNF, Topline and Get Lit (the one you were keen for mv) these are like mini mvs so only a 1.5min but some of these hopefully will have full mvs released. I always say go for an album listen as usually title track the main song release (like this one was s-class) more suited to a range or sometimes to give an idea of the album more used in promo. They do have more switch ups in sound in previous albums this one more heavy on hip hop/melodic. Usally across the board their songs are always hype songs even the ballads (also the best mini chrissy album too highly rec). If you want more their ballads softer songs i would rec the skz-replay album they released which is a bunch of their only on yt not to streaming songs they finally released. Outside of this highly recommend Winter Falls (it was from their christmas album - only 4 songs 3 new but that is still my fav one of those songs you gotta check out. Winter Falls, Christmas Evel and 24 to 25 (similar to youtiful vibes) have mvs. Also good recs w mvs - The View, Mixtape: OH, Scars (japanese), gone away (unit song). If you want a fun summer song also unit song alongisde gone away is Surfin super good has mv too.
They have PLENTY of ballads. Listen to Secret, Secret, Winter Falls, Sorry, I Love You, Gone Away, LoveSTAY, There, .....so many lol or look up a soft playlist from them. They are MOST DEFINITELY underrated. Thank you for listening.
You should definetly check out stray kids discography in general, its insanely versatile. like they have seudo-metal, dupstep, trap and everythyng else you can imagine. including a bit of r&b too, at least r&b mixed with hiphop.
If no one else has said it: Super Bowl was the original God’s Menu. And God’s Menu was called God’s Menu II. And FNF was dedicated to the loss of Flora and Fauna in the Australian Outback wildfires.
yes skz are so insane! their diversity is unlike anything that i’ve seen before. another large reason i love skz is because of their lyrics/meanings. FNF was about the wildfires in australia and DLC was about the story of a boxer who fell in love with dance. AND they make almost all of their own music. skz are absolutely phenomenal.
You need to check out the Japanese version of The Sound...I love the Korean version but I feel the Japanese version hits hits! Yep agree they deserve so much more recognition!!!
This album was incredible. Btw, I think you’d like NCT 127 😊 Although they’re very experimental, they aren’t afraid to push the envelope and provide new sounds and interesting song progressions
“The Sound” was their last project, its a Japanese album they released in April but their other full album was released in October it’s called “Maxident”
I highly suggest you reacting to Fam (korean ver) MV to learn about the members. If you want something different from them, try Waiting For Us, Neverending Story (live), Lonely St, Gone Away, Surfin and Red Lights. You can do all of them in 1 video because this long video format is very fun to watch
Time out was released for 4 year anniversary the tune at the start is a sample of Scotty doesn't know by lustra :) if you want more goofy content they have their show skz code and do variety vids too like their family ones!
Think a lot have covered the comeback topic...releases previous to this were The Sound Japanese album, Maxident and Oddinary all worth a check out for sure...all their songs are good so go as far back as you can! I can't say I've heard a bad song yet and I'm talkining going all the way back to debut and pre-debut! Edit: Don't know if I should have added skz replay in that recents list...oh well I'm sure someone will let u know if I should've lol
Last December was the last time they put out something new. Not sure why they call it a comeback. They have a very limited life span due to South Korea's mandatory military enrollment. I'm loving this album. I'm looking forward to more M/Vs from this album.
superbowl was actually suppose to be the title track instead of gods menu back in 2020 but they didnt release it then and it took them another 3 years to actually release it
YOUTIFUL MIGHT BE THE BEST SONG EVER 😢
I'm with you on this çç
You're so real for this
So real
I like this one too ❤ Stray kids have many slow song like neverending story or winter they are my fav
@@monickastephanieguede7150 yes please 😊😅
the fact that they produce and write everything themself is the craziest part

He's considered an Ace because he sings, raps, dances, writes, produces - can really do it all (which truthfully all the members can) "Volcano" and "I Got It" are my favorite songs of his because they're just so different.
I agree with you, it is very rare to listen to n album and like every song. I don't know how hey did but I liked every song on this one
I agree, this was absolutely a no miss album. Great job with your reaction.❤
skz be dropping music like crazy
It was great vibing with u!!! I could feel your genuine appreciation for this body of work! If you like Collision and Youtiful, then check out:
Deep end (solo by Felix)
Waiting for us
Chill
Neverending story
Phobia
Sorry I love you
Secret secret
Taste (Lee know, Hyunjin & Felix)
Run (solo by Han)
Red Lights (Bang Chan & Hyunjin)
Gone away (Han, Seungmin & IN)
Thank you so much for reacting to the whole album! It made me so happy to see you enjoy it :)
Okay listen, I LOVE THE WAY YOU ENJOYED THE SONGS ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This album is just so good. Hall of Fame is my fav and I can't really explain why. It just makes my brain so happy 😅
I can’t decide on my favourite. My god this album’s good. Seeing you vibing to it was awesome.
❤️
first!! keep it up, love your content 😁
I loved the reaction! I appreciate you taking the time to listen and watch everything even at 1 in the morning lol. I also really like that you enjoyed the slower and poppy songs like Time Out too :))))
I can't rank this album either but this is definitely their best one yet, can't wait to watch more :D
I love your reaction! FNF, Topline and other song of this album have music video ❤️
I think you'll find they are 160 out of 160. They simply don't miss, literally.
@@mariahkallevig788 I did not know that, no wonder the Japanese concerts online sound so much more livelier. Thanks for that information!
"Comeback" in the K-Pop world means something different than its usual meaning.
In K-Pop, it means their newest album release or newest big project, even if only 6 months have passed since their last "comeback."
Some K-Pop groups (like Stray Kids) have been known to release 2-3 "comebacks" in a single year.
loved the reaction😃their last album was dropped 8 months ago...also superbowl sounds familliar cus it was the original god's menu they changed the title to god's menu last minute 3 years ago
I love this album!
I recommend you watching their live performances for these songs too❤
hear me out;
1. Taste
2. Red Lights
3. God’s Menu
4. Easy
5. Charmer
6. Waiting For Us
7. The View
Thank me later. SKZ are probably one of the dopest most versatile artists in this generation i’m not even being dramatic. they’re the only who got me into liking kpop ngl.
Their last project (comeback) was 8 months ago. The album name was maxident and the album before that was oddinary
Definitely subscribing! This was wonderfulll
Thank you for your effort to get through thr entire album! Your reaction is much appreciated 🩵📌
Watch the MV for the Japanese version of The Sound. All of their MVs are known for incredible visuals and transitions.
What i like so much in Stray Kids music it's the fact that if you are honest you can't said that you don't like any song in their album because it's so divers❤
Heyyyyyy i like your reaction thank you so much! ❤ I love hiphop that's why i listen to them, I love their songs!
If you want a fun summer song also unit song alongisde gone away is Surfin super good has mv too.
this album they humiliated everyone, 3racha as always did a great job!
Stays cleared your doubts and I would like to recommend Skz Code, it's their program, it's very good
Thank you for your reaction! Loved it
They have PLENTY of ballads.
If no one else has said it:
Super Bowl was the original God’s Menu.
I would recommend watching lyric videos if you would like to know what they are saying! Love your reactions by the way ❤️‼️
Thank you! Will do!
You need to check out the Japanese version of The Sound...I love the Korean version but I feel the Japanese version hits hits! Yep agree they deserve so much more recognition!!!
I enjoyed your reaction. Thanks for taking the time to react. Glad your ok
You have to hear "red lights" "secret secret" "scars" "taste" and "domino -color coded"
Thank you so much❤❤
I highly suggest you reacting to Fam (korean ver) MV to learn about the members. If you want something different from them, try Waiting For Us, Neverending Story (live), Lonely St, Gone Away, Surfin and Red Lights. You can do all of them in 1 video because this long video format is very fun to watch
Time out was released for 4 year anniversary the tune at the start is a sample of Scotty doesn't know by lustra :) if you want more goofy content they have their show skz code and do variety vids too like their family ones!
youtiful is one of my favorites its such a beautiful song
ty for reacting to the whole album!!
I feel like Time Out is the perfect outro after this rollercoaster of an album
Lowkey my favorite genre of stray kids songs is songs like Time Out and FNF
STRAY KIDS BEST OF THE BEST 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love your reaction ❤
coming back in kpop is basically putting out songs once or twice a year they dropped maxident and oddinary last year
off topic but you are fineee asl😭🔥
Appreciate you
I really like your reaction. I subscriber from Colombia
I recommend reacting to the lyrics videos so you could also understand the meanings 👍🏽
Collision is JUST PERFECT
Think a lot have covered the comeback topic...releases previous to this were The Sound Japanese album, Maxident and Oddinary all worth a check out for sure...all their songs are good so go as far back as you can! I can't say I've heard a bad song yet and I'm talkining going all the way back to debut and pre-debut!
Edit: Don't know if I should have added skz replay in that recents list...oh well I'm sure someone will let u know if I should've lol
Collision as fuckin vibe
I like your chill vibe
Last December was the last time they put out something new. Not sure why they call it a comeback. They have a very limited life span due to South Korea's mandatory military enrollment. I'm loving this album. I'm looking forward to more M/Vs from this album.
superbowl was actually suppose to be the title track instead of gods menu back in 2020 but they didnt release it then and it took them another 3 years to actually release it
Scars is another slower song thank you for your reaction 🤗
The video to the sound is really good
I love how every song he always say and claim: I like this, this is my song!
HAHAHAHAA he is just like us (STAYS)😂
Welcome to Stray Kids journey
