I'm unsure if Ms Pieterse has the free time to read comments here, but just in case, I wanted to say thanks. About 30 years ago, I started posting my own first-person racing videos on the internet. This was way before 'monetization' was really part of our lexicon, never mind in daily-usage like now, so they were just a bunch of people having fun racing, and shared solely for the entertainment of others. Now, every time I watch one of your recon laps, I get a rush of nostalgia that doesn't quite make me feel young, but at least makes me remember what it was like to feel young. So, "Thank you, and godspeed."
@@Broodjemetbeleg Believe it or not, Sony Handycam was launched 39 years ago. Relatively small cameras have been around for quite awhile, they just lacked the convenience and resolution of modern equipment. In my case, I fabricated my own mounts for a variety of cameras, including a couple Sonys.
@@davidhillman1257 oh I’m not that young myself haha, I certainly remember and used the handycam. Very clever haha! Wouldn’t mind seeing footage from it if you have any laying around. Did you use a wide angle lens adapter?
