In this show Suleiman still slept with other women even after Firuze incident 😌
True story should be told. Your giving us the wrong bad impression of Suleyman. Since this is part of the history of Turkish country, it would be nice and educational if you share your viewers the facts rather than fiction. Am now confused and disappointed let's say to characters that brings negative impression. We learn a lot from our history, they are what we have achieved now because of it. It saddened me to know that such untoward incidents happened when in reality there's none.
There's no point in even reasoning or speaking to Hatice in anyway, she pretends to be this tragic victimized Princess when she's really just a very naive, out of touch with reality, egotistical, Angry & sadistic little girl who expected the world to be exactly as she wills it to be out of just because she exists with no effort put in by her in any level she's such a vampire.

power is what it is . Sulleyman’s father had his brothers or sons killed because of his suspicious mind . wanting to hold onto power . but I think he believed that Mahedrevan would influence Mustafa to take over the throne.

Mahidevran stormed the Sultans chamber and demanded to be freed as well. Suleiman refused and told Mahidevran to leave and forbid her from seeing Mustafa. Mahi cried in her room and Mustafa saw her. She explained what happened and Mustafa went to his father. He spoke on his mother crying and being sad all the time and requested to leave with her. I believe their relationship was never the same after that. Mustafa chose his mother over his father countless times and spoke on things he should've never known. This caused a rift in their relationship, no one is higher than his majesty the Sultan, you have to remain loyal and Mustafa showed countless times who he was loyal too. Let me know what you think.... I can point of a few other things as well.

The actor who plays Ibrahim is superb, utterly believable. I dislike his Ibrahim intensely - so servile in the presence of Suleiman, so nasty to many other people, two-faced! Hard to remember this is an actor. I hope he got big awards for such a convincing depiction.

I think that's too strong of a criticism. Her loyalty is not directed towards Hurrem, but rather to the harem and its traditions. There is no legal wife in a harem. So Hurrem is really setting a precedent where there are no clear rules for Afife to follow. She is just resorting to what she knows: serving the Osman Dynasty wishes. She is a lickspittle, not a traitor.
I laughed to see the girls who were still young, some of them came to the palace with Hurem, how could it be that when Mehmed was an adult, the girls who were the same age as his mother still looked young?
Nigar is such an intelligent woman. She could've let Gulsah killed Hatice. Getting rid of all her enemy in one blow- Hatice, Hurrem and Gulsah. Too bad, she's still got conscience after everything they have done to her. She's tough outside, but soft hearted.
Mustafa is always trying hard to be the good son, but Suleiman has his own demons as a parent. Suleiman doesn't know how to see himself: is he a loving impartial father to his many sons? Or does he take the lesson from his own father Selim: fathers can see their sons as rivals. He can not shake that paranoia, especially when Mustafa gets competitive and accidentally hurts Mehmet🥲🥲

When a Sultan dies his heir has the right to kill his male siblings who pose a threat to the throne. Mehmed is Sultan Suleiman favorite. Mustafa is the oldest and in many eye the heir to the throne. Sultan Suleiman sees Mehmed disarmed by Mustafa and is given a dose of reality. At some point this will actually happen.
I think it was more along the lines that Mustafa headbutted Mehmet and hurt him. Maybe in these duels you’re not supposed to draw the blood of your opponent. So kicks and nudges are allowed but literal headbutting is not. Not to mention that Mustafa had already disarmed Mehmet before he headbutted him. Sure it was a good defense but probably not a good thing to so

The actor who plays Ibrahim is superb, utterly believable. I dislike his Ibrahim intensely - so servile in the presence of Suleiman, so nasty to many other people, two-faced! Hard to remember this is an actor. I hope he got big awards for such a convincing depiction.

I think it was more along the lines that Mustafa headbutted Mehmet and hurt him. Maybe in these duels you’re not supposed to draw the blood of your opponent. So kicks and nudges are allowed but literal headbutting is not.
Not to mention that Mustafa had already disarmed Mehmet before he headbutted him. Sure it was a good defense but probably not a good thing to so

There is zero comparison here. Hatice has the choice to divorce Ibrahim, take his children away or even have him killed. She still chooses to go back to him.
