Wow for the first time while watching a video of Jerusalem I felt like I was finding my way around, knowing what the city is really like. Great video.
FYI: When he entered the Arab Quarter, there were paintings on the wall with the Dome of the Rock (which means they are the "protectors of the Dome of the Rock" and will die to protect it. There was also a painting of a Black Cube called The Kaaba which means that the person who painted it went on pilgrimage to Mecca to the Kaaba. I learned about this on a tour of the Old City.

Those markets look a great place to happily get lost in for a few hours :) I have never thought about going to Isreal, but the area of the Old Town seems a place I could gladly wander, so much history, architecture and beauty in all quarters. Thank you Gabriel, still the best presenter on You Tube.

Never new that Jerusalem was such a wonderfull city, especially the old city 😍 Im thankfull to God that I had the oppurtunity to visit this holy place. I prayed in the Al Aqsa mosque (next to the Dome of Rock), went to the Western Wall and the Holy Sephulchre. ☪️✡️✝️ Beautiful experience and it really openend my heart and eyes, ma sha Allah ❤️

This place is a bait for curiousity, it has so much meaning that you feel like it's a dream
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Never seen a city like this. In the beginning I was looking for city, locals and roads of the old city. But what I saw in it, tourists, walls, gates and strange structures. Then mosque and other things. Would love to see it again and again. I could never imagine myself there in my life. It is so fascinating that there are so many places to see in this world. Those who travel are very very lucky!
It has been over forty years since I roamed the narrow streets of the Old City, so this is quite nostalgic for me. From your skillfully crafted video I can still sense the electricity that I experienced on numerous visits there in my youth. Curiously, nothing much seems to have changed which, as I write this, is a remarkably naïve thing to say given that Jerusalem's history spans a mere 5,000 years!
One exception that is apparent - there were no soldiers seen patrolling the streets in your video. Perhaps we can all agree that the '70's were more turbulent times though, after perusing the comments section, it is evident that Jerusalem continues to evoke passions as uncompromising as ever.

This was a great video of the Old City. It brings back so many memories of when I went in 2017. Of course the markets were way more packed than in this video. A lot of places were shoulder to shoulder, lol. I would love to be able to visit again someday. It’s really an experience everyone should have if they are able.

I've been there too and the first time I walked the streets of the old city I regretted not having a recorder with me just to record the sounds. Palestinian arabs who ran the King George V restaurant were wonderful in showing me around. If they read this please reply, I was there in the Summer of 1976

Great tour. I went there Feb 2018 - remember all the same places, even the Holy bagel cafe I took a pic of. Loved Israel and Jerusalem, I will be back. As a christian woman, I cried my eyes out. BTW, you could have offered 10 shekels for that fresh juice. They'll gladly give you " a discount":)

Depends on where you live you can visit Jerusalem easily or less but possible...Quds comes from Hebrew Biet Ha-Miqdush(the house of the holy)Jerusalem is the city containing the 3 holy mountains Moria,Zion,Temple mount are more connected to the "holy" city.

E K Maybe one day in sha Allah, with Gods willing 😄👍🏼 The reason is that it would became a tourist place, while people (muslims) are in a state of worship and that would be a complete distraction and chaos, cause those places are very crowded, like 1 billion muslims wanting to visit those places. The reason muslims visit Mekka and Medina is for worshipreasons only, not as a tourist like the city of Jerusalem where you are allowed to enter the holy places. I for example really felt uncomfortable when I entered the Western Wall, I felt like I was standing the people in the way and was watching them while they were praying/worshipping 😬 Same in Holy Sepulchre.
