Great vid Chris, appreciate you making it. Glad you posted your review in the replies. I just got the new 2020 today and the 1st gear etc is driving me pretty nutty already. I think a 16T front sprocket will help as well, but this would give me some more movement if I had any backfire issues with muffler mods.
I have a 2018 Duke 390 and I've been looking at getting this to get rid of the annoying occasional stall out when idling at a traffic light. It's happened to me 3 times just this past month. I've heard this gets rod of that and seems to be the most cost effective way.
Thnx for the video. I got 2016 Duke 390. It has in box k&n air filter + decat + sc project moto gp exhaust with db killer. Sounds awesome but I feel it has leaner side now. I got little bit performance and top speed loss. If I buy this, can I solve the problem? Or should I buy piggyback ecu?
@@RhoadsChristopher I have bad experience with power commander v on my sv650 one day he fail the bike won't start filter was full of oil........thats why I went with rapid bike
@@RhoadsChristopher Why did you switch? I'm getting a full exhuast for my 21 890 duke R and coober air box. I have akra map already so maybe it will work fine but I still want it to run good no issues.
I have bought and installed the RapidBike Easy v2 (the lastest version) for my KTM Duke 125 ABS 2015. I have the K&n filter too. In my opinion I have feel a noticeable improvement in acceleration, smoothness and a very good response when you stress the bike in low rpm. Right now I am using the recommended setting 5 and +2. Do you recommend me another configuration of these settings? Thanks a lot.

@@RhoadsChristopher I did the idle relearn and I feell rpm are more stable when you are in a stop or waiting for the traffic light. After 10 minutes of relearning I heared there are variations in the rpm to check parameters or something like that.
I have a question. I want to install it but I can't seem to find if u need to reset the ECU with the 15 min idle. If so, do u do it before install or after? Great video by the way, it helped me a lot already 😊
Stelios Alexandrou sorry I missed your comment. To answer your question other than an air filter the bike is fairly stock. When coming off throttle I would get lean popping at times and this help fixed that issue. I don't know about top speed as I haven't had the desire to go that fast on it (I have a modified Supra for that). So the benefit I've seen. 1st gear is way smoother, this bike is a bit jerky in 1st and smoothed things out from low to mid range. Using my torque app and Bluetooth adapter noted an improvement in AFR's across the board showing a Richer Fuel mixture of around 12.3-12.7 Which is an improvement over what I was getting before (mid 13s if I recall correctly). Also there does seem to be an improvement over all in acceleration, but I wouldn't say it's anything super dramatic.
@@RhoadsChristopher Same bike here and I could not make my obd2 work with my bike. When I install obd2 to the port, obd2 became alive, torque app sees the adapter but there is no communication with ecu. I did not understand what is wrong.
Good video, but why have the module on show? There’s no real need to adjust it once installed and it looks a lot better under the pillion seat where l installed mine. You can still get to it in a few seconds if needed, and the supplied harness will reach.
@@berniehuerta360 I like the PCV, but i don't at the same time. I found a great deal on mine that I couldn't pass up. The only issue I have with it is the fact that Pthe power commander V tuning software really needs more tuning cells. It is an RPM vs throttle position map, the issue is that it is missing a few throttle % cells that would make tuning way easier. There is no 30% or 50% throttle cells which is kind of a pain. Having looked at the powertronics R tune software recently, I really like that program a lot more in comparison.
@@RhoadsChristopher I have a Giannelli all open and i change the air filter. For starting the engine I have to open all the gas and push the starting button this is the only way to start the engine. I choose to take this centraline to fix this problem.

@@RhoadsChristopher it's either this or the booster plug. Both seem to have great reviews to get the job done.
If I have installed an Akrapovic exhaust, a k&n air filter and a Rapid bike easy, is a new mapping necessary?

For future proofing I would go with a piggyback.

Do you know what would be the setting for a decat Duke?
I would use the recommended settings from the company
What is the setting?(not fuel ratio)
Which settings are you asking about?
Hi is good from ktm duke 200 use?tq
I would imagine as long as the connector is the same then yes.

Does the torque app really show all required info for the KTM 390?
On my 1st gen it shows a fair amount. There are some custom PIDS that are required, but they do work. Im not sure about the 2nd gen
