Tracking is easy. The face against the direction of the belt..."like facing on coming traffic" you do this because the tracking rollers are under the conveyor. Alot of people focus on the top of the belt but the tracking rollers are not touching the top they are touching the bottom and the bottom is going a different direction then the top. Then think of a tracking roller like steering a bicycle . It's really easy if you can ride a bike
@@180Floridalife our facility has calijan and Maxx reach extendos sometimes the edges get warn out due to chain rubbing on them on both sides and they aren’t perfectly straight so drawing a line across the belt with a straight edge is not a true measurement anymore , is there anything we could do for that ?
I’ll never understand why people use these cutters. They’re expensive and you already have a tee square. Less time to use a knife and cutting board and a hell of a lot cheaper.
☹ Can't give a thumbs up, sorry. No explanation of why you're making marks an inch apart, no information on how or why to choose the correct lacing or pin
Cool . I witness my crew do this daily and I’m about to start doing these myself
I wish we had them tools you using
what's the name of the company you work for
Does anyone have the part number for the tool used to take off the rough ribbs
I just add a link to the belt skiver tool in the video description thanks for watching
Make a video about tracking the merge belt

Does it matter where you put the lacing? Like how far from the edge so the belt could be lined up with the lacing?
The lacing should go to the edge of the belt. Thanks for watching
could you make a video on how to lace a belt that is not square on either edge ?
Like a portec curve unit ?
