I'll never understand how some people are so bad with money. My mother has been making six figures for nearly 20 years at this point. She still periodically borrows money from me. Mind you...she's a single person with no children living with her (I'm her only child and I moved out about 25 years ago).
Meanwhile, I make a little under $70k and I own my home, drive a '22 Supra, and never ask anyone for money. I've tried offering her financial advice, but she just gets angry/offended🤷🏽♂
So why are you giving her money?
@@trish0817 Because she's my mother?
Damn
Hope you’re prepared to fund her retirement. She knows she can manipulate you. Yo are allowed to say no. She’s using you because she knows she can. Grow up and stop being a doormat

@@hujiastilldreaming To be clear, I haven’t said anything behind your back. I’m just speaking on what I’m hearing directly from your mouth. There’s nothing to speak behind your back because you put this video out to the public lol and if I was in person, I would definitely keep the same energy about what I said. I understand your bills and all but it’s definitely a way to get around that with that much money coming in. It just shows you never been through the real struggle. Plus you living in Cali…. That’s bout 70% of your problem. I will definitely look at your other videos but seeing this was kind of alarming.
A w2 wage will keep you broke. No matter how good the job is if she generated 300,000 in her business, she can write off a lot of those expenses.
She is leaving out a lot of stuff. Single, no kids and struggling making 300k + a year. No way. Even at a base salary of 200k, still no way. Being single, there's a lot of things not needed to spend money on, versus being married with kids. Rent or mortgage ok, get that, but she can live a bare bones lifestyle, if she wanted to, being single.
More money more problems with these clowns. I 46 years old and make $90k and saved over $30k the last 6 months. I don’t have a car note and my home is paid for (bought for $250k, now worth $450k) with no kids. No 401k but my money is invested in other things I have access to and live a lifestyle of one who makes $35k. I’ve cut cable for FireStick/Roku, WiFi for celly internet and use a prepaid flip phone away from home. Car insurance just $500 every 6 months for 2 used cars, $1200 property tax on my home worth $450k and I cook mostly. I’m not cheap just frugal but I’m very simple. My parents and grandparents lived this way with less bills since no WiFi or celly. From my eyes I don’t need to live abroad to save money, since my bills total less than $1000 a month. Women don’t like it that’s why it’s cheaper for me to see college age women. Older women waste too much $ to me worth dating. Oh it does help I live in southwest Virginia so entertainment sucks buts it’s more of a retirement community. I’m a trucker so I at least get to see the world weekly. Eventually I’ll move back to Atlanta as I lived in my 20’s…..nope🤣
Make sure you invest in some mutual funds and ETFs so your money can work for you
You’re doing well but why don’t you just get traditional internet lol it’s like $100… u can afford it.
Straight goals for me. Continue to increase the income, pay off everything and live far below the means. Props to you.
Congrats but you definitely cheap lol 😂 the flip phone and cellular internet is crazy. Go ahead unc
You are a man that got your priorities straight. Keep it up.
I can't stand these people.
I read a comment, some doofus said 10 million dollars is not enough to retire on. 😡
I didn't know why these people don't max out their retirement monthly contributions at works, why they don't have life insurance, and start an education savings account. All are tax deductible. I
this is a joke right?
That is insane. 140K???? I would switch states.
I wish we had a deeper dive into how she spends her money. It looks like she was in a hotel room. That’s pretty expensive. Does she pay for a Tesla? A lot of developers own those. Does she eat out for every mean? Shit adds up real quick.
She doesn't have a man and buys whatever she wants, afterwards she experiences buyers remorse.
What country does she live in?
United States
So a month she spending 800$ for pet insurance? No wonder she broke.
For her income through April to be $135K, I assume she received a bonus payment for the prior year, most likely paid in the Q1
She needs pet insurance for when her family come to visit. It’s probably high from the amount of claims she files
Inflationary vs. Deflationary: whether you know it or not, you will learn the difference. One can make you broke, and the other can lead you down the road to wealth.
That’s a ton of $$$ to be broke.
I'm in the technology field (contractor) I make six digits and I'm from California. Pet insurance, 360/mo, $100-120 at most. Pet insurance is borderline scam. If she's living in an extended stay type hotel, in a descent or upscale area that monthly payment ranges between $3000 - 4000/a month (location). She didn't include if she's eating out a lot, transportation, where in Cali she lives. This is not meant to be one sided, but women in California pay more on clothing, cosmetics, shoe's, getting nails done, hanging out at high-end spots with friends that are in a higher tax bracket. I've had to tell friends to cut these habits.
Yes, that's arguably A LOT of taxes... but even with that being the case she's STILL making almost 200K after all those taxes. There's ZERO reason she should still be struggling at an almost 200K annual income. That's ridiculous
But her dedications are her choice. She said she's getting stocks. She not just getting 40% she has stocks that she can cash out.
Yep. Nothing is for granted. Take that 130k NET minus bill expenses and do something more lucrative with it, while doing what AD is saying, by finding ways to make those bills eat less of your NET.
Dam making 300k a year an still broke? after tax she still in 100k she needs help she terrible with money .
She need leadership 😂😂😂... This is diabolical
If you cant figure out the game at $300k i dont know what to tell you. 😂
She is contributing a lot to her 401k. She has money she can access.
wow I really don't care here is thing she 300k a year and still being broke that tells she does not value her money and have very poor money management skills you she could not invest some that money damn that is my goal is hit 300k mark period

@@blacksilverchair3315stop lying. The cost of living in Florida has gone up that’s why a lot of people are moving from Florida
This shows it doesn’t matter how much you make but how much you spend! There are people with $2-3M in retirement accounts and don’t think it’s enough to retire. 🤦🏾♂️
She's sending money back home overseas.
Good Possibility 💯
I work in finance brotha and love your content. There is no reason why she should be broke making 130 after taxes. Yes the government is a damn shame but what is she really spending her money on. Salute og
Self inflicted injuries.
Yep lol
Sho nuff
Being 40 and saying cap is wild kids don't even say it anymore
knowing what the kids are saying and not saying is crazier
It doesn't make sense to you because her math ain't mathing. Something is missing here.
People focusing on the 300k number. I just started my career and it pays similar to what she’s making. The taxes suck. Those numbers are close to accurate. Of course per insurance is extra but even without that it’s still a lot.
Living waaaaaay above her means bro !!🤷🤦
She must be in Cali or NYC. You can easily run through 300k there. High taxes, high cost of living, and keeping up with the Jones'. That 💰 gone.
I live in a high tax state....$300,000 is a lot of money. Her numbers don't add up. I think she's lying.
I'm an accountant and her numbers are way off......She isn't making $300,000 a year. She is only making gross base pay around $200,000 per year. Net Pay is $129,462.32. Where is the other $100,000 a year coming from? Is it from bonuses?
Agreed. The math ain’t matching. His initial point stressed her net was $15K monthly/$7,700+ bi-weekly. Simple calculations show her annual net is $200k or less. I’m guessing she receives bonuses, but even she admitted it’s based on how well the company does that year. Sounds like she makes $200k/year… not $300k.
I agree... the math ain't mathin'. She probably counts RSUs as part of her $300K, and typically they have a vesting schedule of a number of years, so she may as well not even count them as income before she actually receives the shares. As someone who lives in Manhattan, I can safely say that living on $200K/year for a single person in a high cost of living city is not great. Yes, it can be done, but after taxes and housing expenses, you are left with very little to live on and invest. I made $200K/year about 10 years ago and it was just enough to be comfortable back then. I don't think that is the case anymore.
Bonuses and/or stock options....not unusual with tech( Silicone Valley) companies
please watch the full video, it explains the $100k is from RSUs that vests quarterly :)
8:10/Anton Daniels, Shut up!!!! She said $4,979.00 & some odd change!! Not $5,000.00!!!
She get 15k a month, what’s the problem?
And takes home 10k a month. 🤔
Taxes 😂. Democrats in office everything is high…we need to put the republicans back in office asap

Hey friend, please watch the original full video and some of my other ones if you are curious about WHO I AM instead of JUDGING SO SOON, I have two very young children to raise and refuse to send them to cheap ones without licenses, and any licensed day care in the bay area is > $1800/month. 6:04/Anton Daniels, shut up!!! Tax deduction is Tax deduction!! She's still losing money!! Stop assuming things!!
She is lying, numbers do not add up. She makes $200k on her base salary and Keeps $129,462.32 take home. No way her bonuses are taxed at a 100%. She is lying. This video has to be fake and fabricated. Some stuff may be true but she is lying.
