I remember seeing Iryna in an interview with Sky News here in the UK and remember thinking just how beautiful she was, with her gorgeous piercing blue eyes.. but you could tell she was exhausted, tired even, given how intense the fighting was around that time when UAF were in full defence phase. She also has a massive heart because she really cared about the soldiers she was working with and saw first hand just how brutal war could be to the human body. I do think about her once in a while, and do hope she's okay and in good spirits despite the war. Hopefully she got rotated out not long after to get to enjoy the Netflix and takeaway she longed for and to go and be with her mom - the things she said she really missed.
