I just ordered two sets of bulbs and two sets of adapters from your description (and I have beemer code already) is that all I need for the low/high beams
Alright so the bulbs don’t fit for the lowbeams but they do for the high beams, what did you use for the lowbeams in the other videos you use a black LED bulb bit in your description you have a cougar one
@@amiramadmairaj8500 the black bulb used in the low beam video were cougar motor LED’s. They were an older more bulky design. The newer style is designed just like an original H7 bulb it should be easier to install with the newer ones. If you Take the wheel off you’ll have more room to operate
@@ultimatediyguy395 Yeah I got everything off, if you look into the headlight there is this ring (you show it in the low beam video at 2:18) the newer cougar bulbs are a lot fatter and don't fit inside this ring. I hope that makes sense, I am on the lookout for slimmer LED bulbs, although the new cougar ones fit in the high beams fine.
@@ultimatediyguy395my bmw had led lights. Took it to a mechanic thought he was honest. Informed him of my concerns. The mechanic burned me for my led lights, original rear view mirror, original undercover splash. I told him I even have before pics showed him. He wanted me to go to the bmw dealership and get a print out. Like really you stole my original parts and gave me generic😡 so mad upset like you wouldn’t believe. Now I just go to the bmw dealership, I have one mechanic that is very honest always shows me pictures of what they worked on before and after. I only go to him when dealership is to busy.
@@FF4EVA the LED bulb is a H7 design. No excessive glare or anything I’ve been running these new bulbs for a very long time now. Not once has anybody flashed at me or complained about the bulb brightness. I’ve run LED bulbs in many different vehicles with reflective headlights no issues

Yup the hardest part is getting the tabs on the headlight in place. so be patient and go luck👍🏾

Were do you purchase that little chip you plugged into the car in order to put the codes in?
Do you have a video for the low beam I can’t find anyone with an LCI doing the lowbeam
Yes I do
Lol I just found it! Thank you!
So after you put the Leds in do you get error code on Dash Before using Bimmer code?
Yes
@@ultimatediyguy395Thank you! When you use Bimmer code the error disappears?
Can you send me link to purchase bimmercode hardware. Does software come with it? Please. Thanks 😎
Doesnt these led bulbs fail an MOT?
No why would they fail. Cars come from the factory with LED lights

@@ultimatediyguy395But not in a reflector housing designed to maximize light output from a H7 halogen bulb, meaning now there's excessive glare.
