Here is an experiment you may want to try sometime.
If there are a large group of people trying to get into a concert, or a mall, or some such, and there are several doors, notice that they all use one door.
Open another and watch them all swarm through that one and ignore the original door. I have done this many times, and it almost always turns out like that.

well yes, but I would assume that they would do this everyone where they crossed, not looking and just following everyone else. if they do that and some car is coming up fast, around a corner, they would be fucked. a lot of them just ignore RJ's bike, and if you don't even look behind your shoulder, you are completely oblivious or do understand right of way, thinking they are just going to stop...

It's amazing to see how well kept these old buildings are in the U.K. Usually old buildings in USA would rot away, abandoned, graffitied, and grown over. Take Detroit, Michigan for example.

I do agree with your point though, I'm from the U.S. and I was just in London earlier this month and the city is beautiful but the people dont give a damn, trash gets left everywhere, it smells, and graffiti can be found in allies. Even so, it is very tasteful compared to many older U.S. cities.

Where I live there would be only a few acting up against me because they are pussies. It was me who said something to the youngsters who think they are so cool with their 125cc bikes and acrapovic exhaust systems who happened to be delivered without a noise cancelling insert.
However there was this guy in the black forest in Germany who got very close to a rider with his pitchfork because he was so pissed that almost every day biker pass by with loud exhaust systems and unreasonable reving.
All I wanted to say is, stop the dimwitted lie of loud pipes and just choose bright colours for your clothing and bike if you want to survive.

It's simply a culture shock. We challenge the norm every day in the UK where as a lot of these tourists and asians come from countries where everything is so automatic, normal, mondane, robotic at times that nothing challenges the norm. Then when it does, they have no learned response or coping mechanism for it, it is usually brought with with little emotion or reaction because they feel invisible and invincible all at the same time. Like that nothing can touch them, they are always in the right and they can behave the "same" regardless of any rules, regulations or out right RESPECT. The last word being key. I can't watch these videos without wanting to learn there language just so i can have proper go at them lol.

And if you decide to walk over red, for example when the traffic is standing anyways, then atleast RUN. same goes for crossing the street without lights and so on. When you go you go. not stop in the middle and be fast, simply because when you run you are not as long in danger, and not stopping because an oncomming can predict your walkway.. if you change tempo it just makes it harder....
Ever considered that some people are slight of seeing or perhaps lack the ability to be too aware of their surroundings? ask any legally blind person you meet, crossing the street can be terrifying
As a driver this made me support lower speed limits in the city. There are way more pedestrians than vehicles... We should change the limits in the busiest areas to slow vehicles and prioritise pedestrians...its common sense. Thanks for the video RJ

In Vietnam, we got a thing kinda like a timer, which allows pedestrians to know how many seconds they got left before the light turn red. Unfortunately, they ignore them all and keep walking and dodging incoming vehicles like in the clip above

I always said that in my head. When I ride I'm going to get a fog horn fitted so when people cut me off or pedestrians run infront of me they will get a pleasant suprise.
Giving anyone permanent hearing damage is probably not for the best. Especially considering there are people around that would receive that permanent hearing damage that didn't do anything wrong.
