On the incident with the Karen forcing open the door what she needs to be confronted with is the sound of a racking 12 gauge shotgun. It is an ABSOLUTELY amazing sounds. It just about instantly takes the aggressiveness and stupidity out of people. And in many cases, it also clears their bowels.
Travel stipend: Bud had something similar with his working with a client after-hours (he and client were in way different time-zones). Got accused of padding how much time he spent with the client after-hours and putting in less time during regular work hours. Ie, if he spent 1.5hrs with the client, he *should* only work 6.5hrs that or the next day, vs the full 8, but typically shorted himself and would put in, say, 7hrs, or an extra 0.5hrs. So -he was asked- it was demanded of him that he keep accurate logs via the vpn which would be checked by IT after the fact. So he did, of course. Instead of being generous with his time and working extra, he'd keep accurate records now, and put in exactly that much less. So instead of the company getting 2-4hrs extra each week, they'd get *exactly* what they were demanding. And why IT wasn't asked to verify past weeks even though they had vpn logs... who knows.
Landlord, tenant, agent, whatever. Crappy people do crappy things. Fortunately, crappy people are the very small minority. Unfortunately, they are the 'most interesting' so we only here about their interactions. In this specific story, I feel like the landlords were crappy because of desperate circumstances. They got caught out overextended and panicked. Any other time they'd probably be the nicest people. As for there being more crappy tenants, that is obvious because there are more tenants than landlords. And again, crappy minority is more interesting so more visible. We wouldn't be here if Redwheel posted stories of how a tenant vacated a residence, left it in good repair and the landlord was kind enough to waive the cleaning fee, returning the full deposit. That's just boring 😴
They really need to make a Karen and Kevin law where if someone intentionally maliciously files a false police report on another person they automatically get the Max sentence that the other person could have gotten if they were found guilty of it.
Imagine the unemployment rate the world would have, if every Karen had the ability to get someone fired at whim. Morning Redwheel, and everyone else :)
Every Karen who screeches "I'll have your job!" should be made to work that job for one week! 🤨 Imagine a rich entitled Karen forced to work a minimum wage retail or waitress job! 😆
I feel like there's a part missing out of the last story Like what was the screenshot saying yes to? I assume it's "You can have my house" but like was there a conversation we don't know about?
I feel like some things are missing too, like obviously that exchange was omitted but what was the reasoning behind thinking a possibly off hand text granted ownership of a house?
When I had a travel stipend, I always used the current IRS rate for milage + tolls for reimbursement. The current IRS rate is 62.5¢/mile. I was never challenged because...Internal Revenue Service. :)
Not sure where the "Attack Of The Card Reader" took place, but judging by the sheer amount of CCTV cameras in places now, there should have been footage. Of course Ally, being the good drone she is will always back up the customer. Stating that the worker is "sorry" proves liability. Last one depends on if you live in a "stand your ground state or not"
Some of these stories are getting shorter, like the woman that was paid some travelling expenses that didn't really cover the daily costs, so worked out what it really cost her ever working day, which ended up about 50% for that she gets, and......that's it......😀
Because it's usually the fastest and easiest way to get Karen to SHUT THE HELL UP AND STOP BOTHERING ME WITH YOUR BULLSHIT!!! Despite the fact that will just encourage Karen to come back and do it again... 😄😁😆😅😂🤣
If I was manager, and a rabid Karen wanted my employee fired, I'd tell her in no uncertain terms "That ain't happening!" Then I'd hustle her out the door. "Don't come back now, hear!"
When the woman came back I held that Allie said. Okay ma'am we reviewed the security camera and that there is no evidence of your claim stating that Op had slapped you with a card reader so I will be sending your report to corporate along with the video footage of her so that there is no discrepancy have a nice day.
Short for, say, Allison, that *IS* the way it should be pronounced. There was even a teevee show, "Kate And Allie", but whether Ally or Allie, the pronunciation is exactly the same.
@@joeschmo622 It totALLY is the same pronunciation! Your statement is factuALLY correct! And even legALLY a person named Alison could go only by Ally 🙂
10:08 So OP sees someone breaking into her house at night and it causes her to feel one of these: embarrassed, or like she’s practicing self denial, or like she has gangrene.

That would be an amazing sight to see. Karen with soiled underwear. 🤣🤣
nice
A sound that's known around the world! 😁👍
Last story, EM hasn't learned her lesson. OP should invest in some cameras both inside an out.
Last story: She didn’t learn a lesson. She is plotting some new evil scheme. (Queue, evil villain laughter).
Cue, not queue
Nannette At least they didn’t spell it like the Spanish word for “what” as so many people do. And hey, maybe the laughter is waiting its turn.

Good afternoon RedWheel hope you are well. Thanks for sharing. Please stay safe.🏴😷😁👍. Have a great day and a wonderful week ahead everyone
"So many landlords pull crap like this." In fact, there are more crappy tenants who wreck the apartment before they move.

Final story; she got beat up so bad in lock up she never wants to go back. Bitter as hell but will do nothing.
Probably got mad that no one served her breakfast in bed!

What the hell are you talking about
You so took story 1 wrong. LOL. Ally just said that to shut the customer up. OP didn't get in any trouble.
On the last story, what a NUT CASE
If they put the lien on the property for the court costs they won't be able to sell it until they settle the lien.
could listen to this all year and never be bored. lol
Good morning RW! Great stories again, hope your weekend is going great, do you mind if I use this to let you know of other stories like the last one ?

Twice I have had someone attempt to break into my home. Both got chased off at gunpoint. I keep my gun in reach at all times.
sounds like EM was off her pills again? LOL
Nothing quiets an entitled person like a few days in jail (former c/o).
Thanks again Redwheel

@@lancerevell5979 now that's how you do it
Sometimes pushing back just makes it worse
I think I would have waited for her to break the door and enter then "defend" myself and my property.
I'm reminded of Paul Harvey's rest of the story intoned in your voice in your intro

Why in the world would anyone believe someone would give their home to a child?
Only one answer..... worms in her brain! 🤨
Because the last one is obviously fake.

The last Em. Is in fact mental illness
When I think of Karen music I think of the theme song from Jaws for some reason
Carl Orff's O'Fortuna for us...
I like to think in the worst case scenarios of mega karen's Psycho's imfamous violin solo would fit them.
