I’m really enjoying these behind these product engineering videos. Really helps give us, the consumers, a better idea of what we’re getting than what we’d get just by reading specs on the website at launch. This one looks like a winner!

Thanks for making the distance between the bends bigger. My rack is 49 inch in width. I hated it everytime I rack the Titan safety squat bar v2.

The black bar looks great! But I really would like to see this bar in hard chrome! Hard chrome with the black pad and knurled handles would look awesome! I know a lot could care less about cosmetics because when it comes down to it, it's about the function of what the bar delivers. But hard chrome would be really be a nice option!

I wish Rep would make this bar with short sleeves for those of us with tight spaces. 10” sleeves would be plenty and would make it an 82” bar.
Can replacement pads be ordered? There's rumors online that one side of the pad is harder and more dense than the other on the initial release

Cool product! I’d really like to see a SSB with handle attachments that mimic the Rogue Marss Bar, i.e. a long, curved, padded handle that hugs the torso. This would allow for further movements to be executed, such as heavy Hatfield squats. I know Bells of Steel has multiple handle attachments for their SSB, but I don’t think they have one like that. Could be something you guys could capitalize on!

Hey Chris - our SSB has been selling even better than expected. More are arriving later this week/next. And then a lot more Mid-February where we should be able to keep up with demand.

If you intend to make more handles, I guess it means we will be able to buy handles eventually? Does it mean these knurled handled?? Because on the off chance that they fit the Bells of Steel SS3, I'd love to have these handles (all this includes that you eventually ship to Canada though xD )

This video mentioned the sale of handles separately. Is that still true, if so when will that go live?
After we can keep up with demand and keep it in stock. Probably 3-4 months from now. This will also be around when additional handles will be available for the REP SSB as well.

They didn’t mention it but I think in a post on one of their social media platforms they did mention it. 319-349 usd was their goal.

This is a great looking bar not that it matters, because this wouldn't change my influence to buy the bar. But is it manufactured in America or China? Just curious.
Thanks Steve! All of our equipment is designed and tested here in Colorado by our beefcake engineers on staff. We have a mix of manufacturing origins across all our product lines. Currently this one is mfg overseas.

Will you be releasing new handles ? I hope you'll release one like the longer bent kabuki handles but the grips bent away from the knees when u ATG. Forget about the nan chucks or chain grips - that's BS. It sucks and no one uses it seriously. Waste of materials to produce it.

No, we intentionally designed them not to spin to ensure maximum stability while squatting. Check out our FAQ on the page tomorrow for more details.
