Hi, I am installing and timing chain but the timing chain mark doesn't line up the exhaust cam but intake and crank lines up I got the timing chain from kparts what's the issue Mr Gary?
You have to turn the exhaust cam until the mark lines up, this is how you know the timing will be correct all the marks must line up with the color chain links as in the video.
@@vehiclemaintenanceandrepai3790 with what I can see the lines are lined on the exhaust and intake cams but the chain links don't , unless if I have to turn the exhaust cam clockwise a little or turn the intake cam anti clockwise a little
Hi. I am in process of changing head gasket of this car ( Hyundai i10 1.2 year 2012 ) Could you please let me know the torque spec for following components: Head bolts, camshaft caps, timing chain cover , crankshaft pulley bolts and engine mount ( chain side ) . Many thanks
Cylinder head torque (renew bolts) stage 1:- 15 +- 2 nm stage 2:- 93 +- 2 degrees stage 3:- 123 +- 2 degrees cam gear 69 +- 5 nm cam caps 13 +- 1 nm tappet cover 9 +- 1 nm engine mounting bolts, there are no recorded torque settings, so do final tighten with a breaker bar, about (70nm) I hope this helps you out. @@khanbahadur2765 Crank Pulley bolt 132 +- 5 nm, no specs on timing chain cover bolts due to it being different sizes, I usually just tighten them like I would any other bolt, against with a bit of a nip (lol)
