Tbf they were both kinda right about Warzone. I say this as a long time Dunkey fan but he's always been more unforgiving when it comes to the BR genre. He treated Apex as a Fortnite and PUBG clone back in 2019 even though Apex was a refreshing addition to the BR scene with all the actual clones popping up back then. Warzone added gulag and loadouts which were pretty new mechanics for BRs. There's a reason why Warzone did (and still is) so well even though people forget about COD games as soon as the next one comes out. I prefer apex but Warzone definitely played a huge hand in revitalizing the genre when fortnite and pubg were getting kinda stale.

People don't remember it so fondly but E3 was amazing. Instead of being spread over 3 months, it was a week of high quality showcases with orchestra's, live audience hype and actual pog celebrity appearances. The absolutely cringe IGN and other journalists delivered was good meme content too, don't you lie to me.
E3 had it's roughness to it... but man it was way better than this Summer Games Mess.
There was like 2 cool non AAA games, rest was indie dogshit that tries to be original, but end up being the least orignal.
Man, the Sony orchestra's and performances fucking ruled. That guy they got for Ghost of Tsushima was awesome

The story telling take is perfectly reasonable from my pov. Story telling is a concept of gaming that doesn't truly get affected by time. Good story telling is just good story telling. If he was raging about the graphics or mechanical/technological things then that wouldn't be fair cuz those things GET better, but people have ALWAYS been able to tell good stories.
And to his rip on Modern Warfare, Dunkey is 100% correct. CoD hasn't changed in a decade conceptually speaking. Take away the BR and the new graphics you have the most copy pasta game on Earth. Multiplayer maps are always the same just retextured 3 lane arena combat with one or two levels of height to the map adding in that even though the BR is good the BR wouldn't exist without it's predecessor's success in both PUBG and Fortnite. So, nope CoD hasn't impacted the gaming world at all let alone Modern Warfare, it's just been really good at following other's example over long periods of time while everything else is just copy/paste, but that's an unrealistically egotistical thing to falsely claim from them. And yes every gameplay trailer they show almost always is the exact same script so it does kinda look like sh*t
But the above is just my opinion so take it or leave it for what it is

Why do people, not get mizkifs joke. He was a decent mario 64 speed runner and is making a platformer of his own. You can hear the timing and everything off the joke. Dunkey is like the king of subtle comedy, idk how the joke flew over his head.

this is one of my favorite dunkey vids in a while, made me laugh consistently but what he says has actual merit
The only good thing about E3 is the cringe moments and to a certain extent crowd reactions like the legendary crowd reaction to Artifact, that clip is classic.

I swear as a kid i went from never knowing what game to play, to looking forward to MAYBE one game per year. I used to be spoilt for choice but now its just slowly been reduced to one game per year, which even then launches like all other games with problems and not so good gameplay and it usually just ends up disappointing. I was so excited for this year, Elden Ring was amazing, Warhammer 3 was a disaster and now i have to wait for the two Batman games that i really want to be good. Otherwise i don't know what im going to do.
4:10 They are taking about modern warfare, not warzone. And also coming back in a batlle royale game was done in apex (and fortnite ripped the mechanic off from apex) before Warzone released. The actual Modern Warfare changed nothing, and neither did Warzone

Dunkey is separating Warzone from the rest of the Modern Warfare package in his opinion. Warzone is basically considered it's own thing at this point, and has been for a long time.

I mean the main reason is that he didn't mention any of the good reveals and only focused on the bad ones. And some of the ones he mentioned aren't even bad, is the Callisto Protocol bad now because it looks similar to another game? The new MW2 campaign looked really good and Dunkey says it looks like shit lol.
The Xbox and Bethesda conference didn't have ads or celebrities, it was just reveal after reveal, Dunkey talked about 1 game revealed there, which was starfield, and also basically said it was going to be shit, which to be honest I agree with, but it's still negative.

How at this point can people accept call of duty? With Xbox I mean I’m chilling and with Bethesda cmon bro after fallout 4, 76 and the constant Skyrim rereleased no one can really expect such high expectations for Star field.
@@merchant_of_kek5697 Vanilla Fallout 4 is a really fun game. It has a bad story but great gameplay and rewards exploration. Modded Fallout 4 is legitimately one of the best things ever.
But yeah, even tho 76 is better now than it was, the game is kind of dead and the constant Skyrim releases are just embarrassing. I really hope they don't fuck up ES6. Speaking of which, ESO is a pretty good MMO imo.

No one really cares for remakes. It's just a cheap way to avoid being creative in any capacity. Just make a new game rather than remaking 30 old ones that no one really wants to replay regardless.

The AI in mw2019 have really improved from previous games because they actually do shit for you rather than just miss all their shots you could camp in a corner all day and have the AI finish the game for you

Dunkey didn't even mention Warzone and yet both these bozos are talking about rezzing and gulag as if those two things somehow redeemed the game when everyone's uninstalled it already. Warzone was good because it used a bunch of pre -established maps from games people liked and that's about it. MW2 was 100x better #ad

@@archieliam717 Yes but fortnite didn't have revives before apex, Warzone got us the Gulag which is a great mechanic and COD 2019 was the first AAA crossplatform FPS shooter, which was huge.
