So happy to add my “thumbs up “ for this . It sort of a musical journey through the passing of time; maybe that’s what’s making me sad…. { I don’t know if the fact that I can only play a few chords has anything to do with it}. I mean, it allows me to play hundreds of songs, but I’d like to really be able to play . But, I’m old now and only stared guitar a short time ago . . . OOOOOoooo! I wish I was 20 or 30 , so I could , one day, play as well as this guy . . . . Oh well…. Glad to listen . ..
Simply astonishing,as the man gets older,he simply gets more fluent, and melodic. Having worshipped Martin for many years,( never missed a concert in old Ayr ( Gaity theatre ) . Should he,hopefully reach George Van Epps expiry age, what can we look forward to ????? Ian Morrison
His technique is easily the equal of Joe Pass, but I would say that in terms of musicality, Taylor surpasses him by some margin.Lovely to listen to and watch ☺
Nope I'd rather not compare - it's best not to. Each have their own style. Martin mesmerizes me like no other, clarity, chord changes, dexterity speed. Joe Pass is a true jazz virtuoso - purist in every sense. No gimmickry ... just a pure virtuoso - he had everything as a straight out jazz guitarist!!!
Go and have a listen to Tommy and MT together, Tommy may not have a Jazz pedigree but he obviously learns quickly and has improved his Jazz playing immensely since playing with MT regularly.
Seriously , I would do immoral and even illegal things to have his right thumb. Would like to know what exercises he's used to develop such speed and independence with it.
Definitely one of the most wonderful guitar performances i ever heard in my life ❤ thanks master taylor!
For me the supreme jazz guitarrist of all times.
Congratulations and thanks from Argentina.
You see Martin Taylor but you hear the Martin Taylor quartet!
So well put.
Genius! Mere mortals like myself can only watch a master at work. What rhythm and timing. Hardly looking at the fretboard too. Beautiful indeed!
Been a while since seeing this, but I still feel the same way about this. Brilliant!!!
How can anyone give this a thumbs down? It's spectacularly beautiful.
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!
spectacular. The cords are so clean. I love it
A true Solo Guitarist! Monumental!

Martin old chap....what a beautiful sound. You mature like a lovely old Cheddar old chap!
As the great guitarist George Golla once told me, Martin is the best. His chords and notes, even at speed, sound so pure.
Hey OZ, I remember George. Used to see him live in Melbourne
total genius martin your the best of the best buddy
A little gem of an arrangement displaying MT's range, feel, technique
Great ..could listen to you all day!! Regards Corrienne
--- Great Master of guitar ! ---
So skilful while being thoughtful!!!
Brilliant as always!!
.
that's the mastery in art of its own...great stuff

Ian Morrison
amazing playing
in the words of the great 20th century philosopher Tina Turner 'your simply the best'
What a Beast!
Martin Taylor: Genius!
This song should totally be played on Mario kart when warrio wins the race! So good!
Your right.
Fantastic.....
So Elegant
His name is 2 famous guitars?
who can beat this.....nobody!
Can we organise a fundraiser for the 10 people out there who need their ears sorting out?
His technique is easily the equal of Joe Pass, but I would say that in terms of musicality, Taylor surpasses him by some margin.Lovely to listen to and watch ☺
Oh man we are in agreement. Not even Joe could play 3 complex parts at the same time like this. Even the bass line is amazing.
right on. I love them both
You are right, he really is superb.
can't compare these guys. they're eddie van halen and jimi hendrix.

Joe's gone. Lenny's gone, but we still got Martin.
This is just great. Martin takes the saccharine out of the tune and adds a Latin rhythm. Geez I'm envious, being an amateur plucker
Intense.
where can I get this tab? oh my god
Whats the point?
It’s extremely difficult to compete with Karen Carpenter’s contralto, but Martin’s playing does the tune some justice.
Is Martin Taylor self taught guitarist?
Pretty much, yeah.
Martin Taylor is a one off. He prefers playing on his own cos it’s more.........money
Store you God!
can i get score of this song???? T^T
Sungeun PARK nope
Sungeun PARK lol
I'll bet your bass player works cheap! Love your playing!
great technique of course, but enjoyable to listen to.
The man who plays piano with guitar
Dave Brubeck meets the Carpenters.
Pat Metheny, Martin Taylor,Tommy Emmanuel are the greatest jazz guitarists...
Adhi Hartono pat martino ;) dont forget him
Adhi Hartono Tommy: jazz??
Absolutely not a jazz musician, but still the best imho.
Go and have a listen to Tommy and MT together, Tommy may not have a Jazz pedigree but he obviously learns quickly and has improved his Jazz playing immensely since playing with MT regularly.
Also playing with Joscho Stephan.
Seriously , I would do immoral and even illegal things to have his right thumb.

What's so illegal and immoral about just good solid practice
Learning and arranging tunes.
Tab Someone please!!
+John Michael Young if you have this tab now could you share? please
+이정욱 Oh hahaha been so long, yeah I never got it. Could probably figure it out by just watching tho

A bit corny & clichéd tbh
Your comment, maybe!😂
