Those are not Altec 210 cabinets, as used in the VOTT A4. They’re missing the bottom chamber which also have the vent for bass reflex operation. I don’t know what they are but, without the bottom for the bass section it’s no wonder you need a subwoofer.

Tar filled multicellular 1005 or are they 1003? The large format bass bins have an ease to them 5hat the 825/828 doesn’t process. Nice stereo setup
