Hmm… as I thought, his JP VA is still my favorite. If I just close my eyes and listen, I can envision a calm, young heir to a well known clan. His voice has the perfect mixture of a witty mind with a bit of a playful/mischievous tendency, which is how I imagine his personality to be (haven’t done his story quest yet so he’s still a bit of a mystery to me). Quite interesting… If it weren’t for Childe being introduced first, I may have made this man my favorite hydro unit instead. But alas, I’m loyal to the people I pick from the start. I look forward to his story quest and interacting with him in future events though 🙂
Honestly this ruins the every character voiced by Akira Ishida for me 😂😂😂 I’ll always hear Katsura and poor Ayato, I can’t take him seriously. I sincerely wish they won’t get Tomokazu Sugita as VA for future characters because I’ll hear Gintoki all the time.

I started playing Honkai last week and holy SHIT now jp Ayato sounds like a villain to me
