I loved Beck Strommer's skating: he is very artistic and impressive!!! I remembered when he was competing in the juniors, medalled for his version of the TREE of LIFE: he was eighteen years old last year and now moved up to seniors.. When he has done the version of the TREE of LIFE: he choreographed the free program himself, and the Canadian commentator, Ted Barton said that he was so inspiring and Mark H. agreed with Ted; and so did I !! In fact, Mark said that American Beck Strommer reminded him of American skater, Lucas Broussard!! Both are raising stars coming out of the juniors into seniors; and both are like American Jason Brown, so America hangs on to your hats, because the men competition at US Nationals are going to be INSANE for Worlds!!!! I can't wait!!!!
Sadly, Lucas is not going to be at US nationals. He posted on Instagram that he had a pelvic injury, so he isn’t going to compete the rest of the season. Hopefully he recovers and comes back strong next season - many men will be vying to get a spot for the Milan Olympics.
@emy2203 I am so sorry that happened to Lucas Broussard; he is a brilliant contractor: I remembered him on the Junior circuit as well as Beck Strommer!!! Well, the men's performances are going to be Insane regardless because we have hungry juniors coming up to the senior level, but they need to work on their consistency though!! Lucas Broussard was/is like Jason Brown had worked on their consistency and front runners behind Ilia Malinin: Beck Strommer would be qualified internationally and scheduled to compete in one of the ISU Challenger Series after Thanksgiving 🦃; and I hope that he does well there too!!!
Beautiful. 10s across the boards. I don't think that Beck ever hits a bad position. Even in the air he looks so elegant. He connects with that music so well.
I have not seen Beck skate before, very nice to be introduced to someone new. I enjoyed his FS program. Lovely choice of music. The choreography was appropriate for the music, the elements were musically placed. He has good flow into and out of the jumps, nice air position with good stretch and tight legs. I really appreciate that Beck was sensitive to his music. Good performance👍👏👏
@@janyshendrickson3833 Yeah, there are people of diversity and ethnicity in figure skating like Debbie Thomas, Fairbanks, Starr Andrews, a Swedish guy but I don't know his name, Canadian pair male skater ( I don't know his name either), and we have two athletes who competed also this year; one who won Eastern Sectional; he is one of the juniors coming up to the senior level: and also there is Chapple, but he has to work on his technical component skills because he came in fifth place at the Midwestern Sectional,. And furthermore, have you heard of the Harlem synchronized skaters and there are other skaters in all levels too!!
