I've lost count of how many times I've seen this. It's so so so good, the perfect tribute to Han and Leia. The piece is gorgeous, the scene choices and voiceovers are brilliant, and the ending gets me every single time. Well done you, you should be so proud of yourself for this. ❤️
This is the Best tribute on Han and Leia anywhere. Great editing and score ( reinterpreted ). Watch every word Carrie said in her last appearance as Leia. Every word is meant for Ford on screen and real life. If you read her last book you would feel her last wish in life was to express her feelings for Ford which she had kept for most of her life. Carrie did love Harrison in real life to her last days.
Leia was once young and in love. She met her long lost brother Luke. Han Solo was working in the smuggling business when he met Leia. Back then she was called Princess Leia. In episode 7 she just wanted her son and brother back. He was killed by his own son Kylo Ren. Han called Leia sweetheart once.
If it were original canon it would in the been "Han and Leia". They fought together both in the political arena and on the battlefield. They fought for each other. Unto the end.
The one thing I loved about the force awakens is that Leila and hons it was like no time had past at all. But star wars will never be the same for me without carrie Fisher in it, still heartbroken that she died just after number 2 was done. You could really tell that she carried more than she knew in the star wars franchise and her real life death especially right before a movie that was supposed to be heavily leila you had a big feeling something was missing. I really don't think now they can do another reboot with leila and hons gone and Luke too, hell that's the essence of star wars.
She was the driving force (pardon the pun) of Star Wars. I can't believe we lost Carrie in her Diamond Jubilee 6 years ago. I was heartbroken by her death. One scene in the 9th Star Wars movie hit home to when we lost her and I broke down in tears.
as a guitar composer playing for bk trailers about comics that have included Star Wars stories were I perform originals heavily influenced by John Williams, I loved this arrangement and addition of a new melody idea half way through this piece that you skillfully give to various instruments and then you all make that captivating key change. Many many cheers!
Han Solo used to have for money at first, but that changed when the Death Star went boom. He knows his old girlfriend Leia and her brother Luke like the back of his hand. Leia still has issues seeing her old boyfriend getting put on ice by the Sith and their Stormtrooper. That's rough even for a princess from a planet lightyears from Earth
Great edit but the sequels fucked yo one of my favorite characters, that wasn’t the way Han should of went . They just casually killed one of the best characters in the Star Wars universe
Everything was good until 2:48 and it destroyed me of the immoral production of star wars. I know the prequels by George Lucas of the killing of the younglings being killed was also immoral but we didn't see happen. I don't think it was needed in the Star Wars Universal. Story should of never been a son and father fight like the original. Solo and Leia in my expectations would of raised a good son. Disney destroyed my Star Wars. This is a good tribute but it makes me sad even more for lots of reasons. It was a waist of actors in my opinion.
I mean, the fact that Han and Leia have a son who turns to the dark side is one of the few things canon that Disney DIDN'T change from the old extended universe (which was considered canon until Disney acquisition)... I guess that's something. And in my mind it makes sense that at least one grandchild of Anakin would be easily swayed and tempted to walk a similar path.
This shows, the older we grow. We can still love, even though we haven't seen that person, in a galaxy, far, far away.
I love the old scenes they argued and they kiss

Harrison Ford wanted them to do this
his name is solo but he has the best person.
Fun fact
These are all clips their not together in the real movies
Great video! Still mad at Disney for offing Han though…
Leia was one of the women Han Solo dated in his past.
Hard to believe hun?
