So glad I'm one of those who was actually afraid to start the game without going throught the training first. I ended up experiencing this masterpiece as a result.
What the..? My copy is called Samurai Slasher Musashi. Still, it's got good tracks on that too like the first level and the different version of the same track for instance. Like an enix game -get you hooked at the very beginning.
This is the one DOC song that I could never find for download or purchase. I even located unofficial soundtracks to many games but this one song still evades me.
Well vincent appears on a very little cameo, it seems that zack goes to the ShinRa mansion and finds the room where vincent was sleeping, he looks at him and says something but then goes away, it seems that at the time of crisis core vincent was sleeping so that's why he doesn't appear.
I love listening to music...I think without music, I would assume myself along with everybody would be at the brink of insanity. I especially love this track!
I've heard a lot of training area songs like this one, but it's one of my favorites. It channels that same feel a lot of them go for, but it's better about it somehow. It also made the game seem like it was going to be more fun than it actually was. Well to be fair it was entertaining, just flawed.
*please be aware that shinra manufacturing is not responsible for any injuries or loss of life caused by the simulation program.* This makes me question how tseng, reno, rude and the other turk members passed this maybe out of sheer skills.
Aww.... I see..... I was playing Crisis Core once and I was always saying that it would be really cool If Vincent appear on that game too as the Turk he is, making a favor to Zack.
@tehmuffinmon I know you posted this ages ago, but I just wanted to agree with you that Masashi is indeed awesome =]. When I heard Uematsu wasn't composing FF13 I was a little worried, especially after 12 (it had it's moments, but not many, soundtrack wise anyway, I like that game), but when I found out it was Masashi I was actually excited after playing DoC.

@@Hikaru0kamiki Lol
The sad thing is how few people got to listen to this ambient masterpiece of a track because of the fact it was just optional training.

The one time where the real OG's took the training.
Lol I always loved this theme. I had hoped that you could get Vincent's turks outfit as an alternative skin.
Listening to this, makes me wanna hook my PS2 up again and just play it. Still like this up to this day.
Seeing my boy Vincent again recently made me think of this once more.
Man, the piano bit still gives me euphoria to this day.
Im more suprised the rest of the turks ain't pull up on clouds gang tho😂
Words cannot express how much I love this track. It is the ultimate piece of music.
Jorge Quintero Samurai legend musash- a new hope industrial

I like that the Shinra Combat Simulator screen has a similar ambience to this, makes me think they used this as a reference :D such an underrated gem

Yeah it’s in the “Multiplayer Mode” soundtrack that was never released outside Japan, which makes it a bit difficult to purchase.
@@c.a.honeycutt5046 Ahh figures!

Training mission or no this lvl is my favorite solely because of the BGM, Masashi Hamauzu you really do final fantasy justice.

I really liked the training segment at the beginning, especially with this playing.

If some form of this song ISN'T in the 3rd Remake game, they are missing a GOLDEN opportunity
Game needs a remake or remaster at least
Never played DoC but this absolutely slaps
Vincent did look cute as a turk
I like him better as one too
@ssbbdiego is because that's a picture from final fantasy 7 before crisis
cloud used to be from ShinRa militar forces so he used a gun
I cant download this track anywhere either! But its great to listen to this disonant melodic tune on U tube at least :)
Ow..... I...see.... I never get to that point 'cause the school put me homework's or sometime I forgot to play it..... Heheh....´: D.
they are far superior than any soldier to 3rd to second class, but not better than a lite member of soldier (angeal, zack, sephiroth, etc)
If kissimmee fla had a theme this would be it.😎
yes it is
@TheOrionStudios I'm asking the same thing because its maad cool to know that a mom likes this game, goes to show how universal FF7 is.
maybe in a forum about ff7 dirge of cerberus
too bad it's not on spotify.....
what name of the track ?
This is late but its called Turks 101
Why Cloud appear with a gun in the 1:03
Because Cloud was a SOLDIER / Shinra Electric Power Company Infantryman :)
I really wish they would release this american
