Hike, Find, Range, Engage

The Tactical Games is a test of fitness and marksmanship. Competitors are tested in a variety of physical and shooting modalities. The intention is to test how well rounded our competitors are. This was the final Elite division stage in our Templeton, PA event. The hike, find, range portion had a 22 minute time cap. Competitors started out on the call of "go" with a 1.2 mile hike, with everything they needed for the stage in tow. Of the 1.2 mile's, roughly 80' was downhill, the rest of the grade was between 5 & 20%. Once reached, competitors had whatever remaining time to find and range 13 targets from 125 - 600 yards. At the 22 minute mark all competitors were sequestered to an area where targets were no longer visible. Competitors were then given :180 to engage all 13 pieces of steel.
