I remember watching a leopard in a zoo exhibit climb 20 feet up a tree so quickly and smoothly it was like watching running water moving upward. In many ways they are the most impressive cat species of all.

@@charlespope8713 a squirrel can run up a tree faster than any of them. Squirrel is the best climbing mammal I know of. They run up fences, trees, walls, like it was horizontal.

Leopards are pound for pound the best hunters in Africa. Their big, fast, can climb trees, good swimmers and can single handely kill much bigger prey like crocodiles

Everybody is food. I just started doing bird watching last year and have come to find that most of the birds in my area are preyed upon by raccoons. Even large woodpeckers and owls. Well, their chicks and eggs anyway.

Not true, body is very effective for converting energy, particulary in wild nature animals, I would say, that from one owl, it can run that tree like 20 times...
You obvious don't have any concept on the amount of calories in food and used in movement. Let's say that owls is about the size of a chicken, so >1000 calories. 200lb human burns 150 calories per miles run. Even if that leopard burn that much within 2 minutes it was hunting, which is way over estimating, it still came out way ahead.

I think leopards will be one of the last big cats to go extinct if at all as it has such diversity in its food habits.
I’ve seen them eating fish, now birds and of course they all kind of animals in between.
So as far as their diet is concerned they definitely don’t have all their eggs in one basket.
