- Greetings fellow noise nerds! Let’s take a semi-informational look at the gear Luke relies upon to entertain the children of the world.
Rated R, for REALLY informative.

You're one of my favorite guitarists. Thank you for taking time to make such an informative series.
*watches Luke's rig rundown*
*trades in Tubescreamer for 2 Rats*
That's the way to do it, baby
i use a rat with a tubescreamer on top
I had just mentioned to my band mates that I wanted to tune to E flat on my Gibson Les Paul. I’ll try the 11’s to see how it feels.
Great rundown. Thanks for the insight. Good to know there’s still dudes that keep it simple and to the point and just rock the riffs.
Your tone is absolutely amazing an quite unique! You are a huge inspiration! LONG LIVE THE NIL🤟
Dude, thanks for sharing. Keep 'em coming.
Looking forward to these!
Can we get a rig break down for Ross too?
Love this, always interesting to see what gear people are playing and why. Luke you rule, as does your playing!
the open pickup cover I just feel is essential
You really don't come across as a gear nerd and that's probably because you've spent more time just writing bitchin riffs and songs. Maybe I should worry less about my fancy gear and more about that...
Also, why Ace Frehly specifically? I remember you saying that 4 years ago, while talking to you guys when you played the Ernie Ball stage (I was traveling with Boy Meets World) and you mentioned you loved him. But I guess personally I don't see the connection. What do you love about him, so that maybe I can check out some stuff of his I wasn't aware of?
💀⚡💀⚡💀⚡
Because, simply, he was/is the most badass.
p.s. 0:56 it's a Tail Piece. 👍
One of the coolest bands in the world. Need to get myself a Rat!
if someone touches their tone knobs then I know we can't be friends
But Luke!
Where's the Fuzz?! :^)
Tailpiece
I wonder why he chose to use E flat standard tuning.
All the cool kids do it
Cuz Metallica
It sounds heavier, little less string tension. I can ease the vocal high spots a bit.
BRB buying 2 Rats.
