Terry, your board design and execution is brilliant. I love your repurpose videos. Please keep them coming and thank you for all the knowledge you have so freely given. 🙏
Thanks for the video and for putting these boards together. I used the ECB-A and the CUB board to make a sweet sounding amp, my first build. Your boards made the build easy and your quick responses to my questions were much appreciated.
An Astatic D-104 into a guitar amp with a tremolo circuit shoved into a discarded radio cabinet and driven by a digital looper. Man... is this a wonderful world or what?
I would probably add a link in the description so that people can go straight to the kit. I might be interested since I have a bunch of tubes in storage...
I looked up the 6CM6 tube in my old RCA Receiving tube manual And found it has a12 watt plate dissipation And can handle 315 Volts on the plate and 285 v on the screen grid that tube could put out 5watts audio it's Characteristics of operation are like the 6v6 and the 6AQ5. Nice choice terry. Why not go push pull 6CM6es in a bigger Antique Radio cabinet With a 12" speaker. Now that would be Really cool. Just a suggestion. Dwight. A/P Mi. S of Detroit.
I love the re-purpose videos, especially with use of the overlooked and affordable tubes. And I noticed your shirt in the video; nice professional branding. I tried to find one on your website but can't seem to find a merchandise link. Let us know when you start offering them. Between vintage ham and vintage guitar amps you have lots of possibilities. Thanks for the free instruction and best wishes on your full-time business!
That little guy sounds pristine! I dig it! If my cat hadn’t eaten my Hakko iron cable I’d be tempted to order one right now, but unfortunately that is gonna set me back a pretty penny!
Hey Terry, love the content and we are really fortune to learn the trade through your channel! It's just a lot of fun! I too build amps but I have to say Terry's the man, brilliant mods and brilliant amps so the adventure continues. Terry did you ever find that tool for the cord retainers?....cause I know a manufacturer who makes that tool.
