Big Boy is an articulated locomotive, so the drive bogies can move quite funnily. So yeah. I do not know how or why these locomotives are really capable of moving, let alone drifting, on loose terrain like grass. But it is still very, very, very funny to see a 604 ton GIANT sliding on pure, plant-ready ground!
