- Hi! Welcome to another episode of my simple but beautiful life in Siargao Island. Come with me to another Fiesta! I discovered fiesta here in The Philippines, and it has now become one of my favorite things here!
It was a completely new experience to me my very first time because we have nothing like it in my country. I love coming together with your family and friends and sharing food, singing karaoke, and tagay!
The Philippines has become my home for almost the past two years after leaving from the United States. When I left, I didn’t have the intention of moving. But I did sell all of my items, including my car and got out of my apartment lease and quit my job because I just had a special feeling. It was definitely no coincidence because I have now come to build my life here! I feel so connected to the way of life here and enjoying spending my days with my local friends! #philippines #islandlife #siargaoisland #filipino

I think it's the laid back thing about Filipinos way of life, and the contentment. You make and appreciate of what you have, rather than what you don't have. We don't need a lot to be happy, we just need family and friends..and ... karaoke.. lol.. I don't know, we're just laid back like that, we worry about things and stuff, but since we got true blue families and friends.. we cope.

Hi Barbie, I appreciate you are being open minded....but, as a Filipino I'm into not sharing one drinking glass for all. I always ask for a dedicated glass for me in a nicer way which of course treated as not a big deal with friends or family. We actually in the family prepared drinking glasses or cups with each corresponding written on it by matkers assigned to each one (in special occassions like beach outings) 😁. Just don;t forget your glass with a number until you get drunk. Cheers to you my fellow dragonboat paddler. (I'm affiliated with Gladiators DBT).
