As an Israeli living in Scandinavia several years, I remember neighbours and local friends and colleagues at work saying the same "you are like us; therefore, we expect much more from the Jews than from the arabs". I was appalled to realise how patronising and simply racist these people were, and yet again, they didn't see it like that, nor how detrimental towards Israel this attitude is, as it puts ALL responsibility on Israel, and the arabs are treated like wild children. They have this woke concept that the "weak" is the poor "innocent", whereas the "strong" is the "evil" oppressor, without realising that we MUST be strong otherwise, the State of Israel would have been erased from earth 75 years ago.
