Panzermuseum Munster bought one StuG III assault gun from Finland number Ps.531-11 nickname "Airi". It's main battle was in 25th of June 1944 in Leitimojärvi (Tali-Ihantala) were it knocked out 4 Soviet AFVs, namely 3 T-34/85s and one ISU-152 heavy assault gun (commander was sergeant N.Kuismin and gunner lance corporal V.Gullman)
The Panzer111 is indeed an Ausf.M ,Sd.Kfz.141/1 (incidentally the one used as the basis for the excellent Dragon Models 1/72 scale kit) ,the Panzer 1V is an Ausf.G Sd.161/1. The Stug is a Sturmgeschutz 111 Ausf G (Late)...great video and good reply nagmashot!
Lovely and rare tanks! But the Pzkwg IV why it has the DAK stencil as very few of them has arrived in Tunisia? Also the open front hatches were never painted in Elfenbein! But I love it the same even if a bit smokey!
because this one was actualy a real DAK Pz IV.. It was build September 1942, in October it was tranfered to Italy and loaded onto the ship Ankara it arrived in Torbuk mid October 1942. Pressed into service and get captured by the brits in Nov 1942 and send to school of tank technology in Chobham .. as the tank was captured it only had 482km on the clock and no battle damage. It was given back to Germany (Munster tank Museum) in 1960... from 1980 till 1983 the tank was completely restored.
In WW2 buckets were used as a toilet by tank crews, you can pee in a spent shell casing but for bigger jobs a bucket is better otherwise things get messy.

The StuG III destroyed more Allied tanks than any other German AFV.

Are you actually celebrating 1st September, the start of WW2? This is really, really bad.
