Im already in love with this AU, maybe because its dark and gloomy and emphasises ghe struggle and toll the pain they have endured which has changed them and this remix, just fits so well and makes the original 10x better in my opinion. Ngl this is like a completely different song at this point, the original sounded more like a balance between calm and intense and felt like an actual blizzard fight song, while this one portrays the blizzard theme a bit less but sounds way much more like a serious fight. I still like how the original sounds more in certain parts, but this is amazing too, didn't expect to see a remix of a song perfect by itself.
During this music, I've heard a bunch of musical instruments, such as piano, guitar, maybe violin or flute, maybe synthesizer, drums, but I am actually curious, how correct I was, and what I missed. Anyway, thanks for this beautiful remixes. If I am correct, I was listening you since 2020,if not earlier and you still doing great. What I was trying to say, that all of your songs gives a unique vibe, which I, personally, love to feel over, and over again. Keep going man! No, that's wrong... keep going, legend!
If I remember correctly, I used a sampled Stradivarius violin, 2 different types of guitars, 2 different pianos, chiptune sounds from the nes, a gated synth pad, a low tuned bass, just a simple dubstep style drum kit, a few hand made synths from a program called serum, I also used a brass section + a string section set to staccato for more dramatic orchestra pieces in the song, paired with a glockenspiel & a church bell for a more majestic tone. a lot of the atmospheric sounds in the background were mixed with an effect called flanger. it makes things sound watery & warbly. a lot of samples like chinese crash, reverse cymbals, bass drops, white noise risers & decends. there was a lot of meticulous practice to get the sound I wanted just right. :D thank you for the kind words vaflandiy!
