What a stunning collection of jewelery. Totally understand your excitement. The Sarah Coventry-marked blue case with nothing but dangling hooks inside is an old fashioned key ring holder. You attach a key to each hook then close the container around them. Protects your clothes. How incredible to see a box from 1959?!
What a phenomenal collection SC, loved the MH, and the C pieces as well. Is is legal can I say Drooooool worthy. Thanks for the awesome video! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hello to my favorite guy.. happy thrusday and happy Friya . Such gorgeous Sarah cov.. I have always love the cover. All vintage pieces are treasures to be love by someone else don't you agree. You always have beautiful surprises for us viewers. When the bells ring and it's you I say it's show ⌚ time. Carolyn waiting on the next surprises. See ya on the next unboxing for sure. And whatever you do stay cool. Peace and joy see ya
Oh Jason such beautiful pieces. Imagine the story those pieces could tell the places they went the things they saw. The lady kept them so nice she should be commended for her care of her an pieces.
One of the boxes had a rose pin and earrings. This is "Lady Coventry. I sold Sarah Coventry when i was in high school in the 70's. The front of the box says?"LC". I also have several pieces plus some of my mother's pieces as well. I very much enjoyed having in home parties! 😊
Hi Jason, all the way from Melbourne Australia I enjoyed this unboxing and I have only 2 pieces of SC , both necklaces and I love them, one of my pieces is a chain that looks like one that was shown in this unboxing
A parure is a complete set, so that one at about 9:55 is a parure. I have the same problem saying parure, or rural. lol I don't know if I've ever seen Sarah Coventry so nice.
Just finished watching this Sarah Coventry unboxing. Fantastic! Question for you. You throw around the words “thermoset” “Bakelite “, “lucite”, “ceramic “, and glass a lot. How do you tell them apart and? You seem to recognize them by looks or feel.
Yes, look and feel can tell a trained and experienced person what a specific material is. However, we ALWAYS test these things before they go up for auction, there are tests to determine materials, plastics etc.
I think she may have been an agent. S Coventry used to be sold in UK by hosting a party in your home, it wasn't available in shops, I'm thinking it was the same in Canada. The area agent/party organiser would be gifted many of the pieces by the company depending on her sales figures.
I'm I the only one that would love to know the elegant lady that collected all of these SC beauties? I'm no expert but I'm even impressed.
She’s so sweet I can tell you that and she has more including traveling cases for the sales ladies 😍
Lovely, lovely, such a beautiful collection!
It really is!
I could watch this over and over, and I have!!❤️
Thank you so much!!

Adding to say I wonder if the Canada-marked pieces were sold exclusively in Canada? That exclusivity would increase their value I bet.
Yes they were and yes they do have a bit more value!
How do I buy my grandmother used to have some of these
They will be in auction, I will post the link and you can find it in the description below.
The set at 23.36 is Juliana, Blue Lagoon
Yep! Did you see the matching earrings 😍

Did this particular collector sell SarahCoventry?
I’m not sure!

@@janesalisbury3686 Thanks so much.. I’m thinking Premier Designs also did that with their sellers in the 90’s..
