They need to understand that the kaiju are ancient beasts that walked the planet long before humans and will continue to do so after humanity ceases to exist. Creatures as ancient and powerful as these should be left alone and allowed to do as they please, especially Godzilla and Mothra as they are nature incarnate.

Monsterverse Godzilla is a Titan that has existed for much longer than the human race with him naturally absorbing radiation with the clip you first showed being an intentional use of an atomic weapon to try and get rid of him which failed. Minus One Godzilla takes a different approach while staying similar to the early Godzilla with the smaller Godzilla that appeared on the island being an ancient dinosaur like creature that already existed while being accidentally in the wrong place at the wrong time during Hydrogen Bomb tests if I remember correctly and due to his regeneration, he got much stronger from the bomb and became the bigger form you saw later in the movie. Remember to always check the original source so you don't show mistake information since each of these Godzilla's are from different universes like how Zilla, Earth Godzilla, Space Godzilla, and Ultimate Godzilla are all different from each other.
Well to this if someone discovers the pieces of Godzilla as in ice just like we saw it may have regenerated as those pieces might become Godzilla I do not know how many godzillas will there when does pieces are discovered melted it's as if the creature is immortal punishing humanity for war reason
