I've been viewing the video you posted on facebook and i even subscribed you because the videos you uploaded were really helpful for my thesis since I have an ongoing thesis now entitled "USING LANDSAT-DERIVED DATA AND NDWI FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF COASTLINE CHANGE IN SURIGAO DEL SUR, PHILIPPINES. 1. I have alot of queries now, especially that I have found that I can extract shorelines without using NDWI. What the best thing or way to extract shoreline? I'm using the LANDSAT DATA for the year 1997, 2001 and 2015.. 2. Can i ask a suggestion from you what's the best thing or way to do to extract and detect changes of the coastline in an easy way since I only have 1 more week to do this .. I hope I could get a response from you, Sir!

Tanvi Gurjar , jpeg file is not good to extract the features from image. And it also has not geo reference. You should use original image with geo reference

yes, i have, you can do it if your image download with many band(Landsat8). then combine them as false color, you will see the contrast between land, water and forest

Step 5, is final step to clear not important features for your product, so we to edit and delete the feature are not important. Before select we must go to edit feature first, as in this video I select one river as my product and switch select to select any feature then I delete.

I followed all the steps but it was failed when I converted the image to the polygon, do you have any advice?
ensure that you use the raster image, Raster image that done on Reclassification step.
