I was actually not expecting this to work, but I had to try.
This was supposed to be the super hard "final" boss (it may or may not be final, since it's just early access)
I think they might have to patch this, I didn't have to fight the tentacles because I killed him too fast.
still, 11 strength, 175% extra damage on frozen enemy, and 2 ice bombs (one with less chance of enemies unfreezing on attack) can go a long way.
