It wasn't necessarily a nerf, more just a bug fix.

the megalodon being able to kill the thickest boss bloon in the game in an extremely efficient and timely manner was a bug on the developers part, not a byproduct of the buffs, additionally the megalodon is extremely unfavourable in terms of large clusters with regular class bloons thus why a ray of doom was used for cleanup. All this person was trying to prove with this video, to put it simply: (with primitive terms you can understand) big boy go die when shark not coded good.
Imagine this is the new Permaspike for bosses.

I love beast handler, but it’s so expensive to be used practically for any situation, and you need like 8 handlers for ONE max tier 5, it just isn’t ever worth using
beast handlers need a buff they are only good when bugged
And the beast handler got nerfed so there's 0 purpose for it
Do 0-3-0 it is the best path
The issue is the beast handler is meant to be a SUPPORT tower, but right now he’s a primary with a single “”support”” ability
You need "only" 6 maxed for max buff for one max guy

Its a tier 1 it can be done with any tier 5 tower

Well, obviously a 150k tower will annhilate a t1 boss (although most aren't this fast). You should try against the different tiers.

POV the worst Nerf in history of balloons
What they need to do for meg is let meg one shot any moab class balloon that falls below like 500,000 health. That way you don’t feel stupid for buying it to takeout round 100, 119, and 140 when it would become genuinely useless after 140. It could still have some late game utility if you brought an fbad down to like 500,000 health on round 200 or something. I could see this logic working perfectly well for bosses too. Bring tier 3 bloonarius down to half health or something and meg can finish him off. Like cmon NK. Please let my boy have something
i thought he'd go to tier 1, then tier 2, the tier 3 and onwards but this just ended up being overkill with tons of leaks

Meg got turned from a good strat to entirely useless. They should bring back the 200k damage, but increase cost to 95k on easy, come on, if it can kill B.A.Ds quickly, it needs high cost. 200k cost for 200k damage.
The 95% nerf they did was insane tho.
Understandable megalopolis is good against 1 strong bloom but not against many small ones because the low pierce
y'all saying that a 150k tower could easily do that to bloonarius, that speed was comparable to a vtsg

Fun fact all three maxed out beasties and several temples anti bloon amd a bunch of other tier 5s cant carry you past round 200 i was shocked the fortified bads took me down that early. Although thats the furthesr ive gotten so far on hard mode so probably definitely bad placements and abilities use
Get an Engie paragon. It can carry you to 170 if you get it before round 150. Then you use Bloon Master Alc to help. Use TSG or temples to deal main damage by setting them to strong to attack B.A.Ds, the the Bloon Master can destroy literally EVERY SINGLE OTHER BLOON. Beast Handler, while flashy and cool, isn't as effective or efficient as paragons and Bloon Master.
