"Shes been Reloaded" is probably Kyle's best joke ever lol
What I got from what the architect said was that many Neo was "The One" to make it all the way to the architect 5 times. And those versions of Neo that made it that far caused them to have to rebuild it the 5 times. My understanding is that Neo has always been "the one". However for example maybe many other versions of him didn't survive the first movie of events. I personally prefer the original to this one. However I've always loved this trilogy as one of my old school, classic favorite's. The first one came out my senior year and it was popping then and has remained so. So I'm bias when it comes to these movies. 😂 Great reaction. I love seeing how invested you are getting into this world, characters and concepts. Oh a movie suggestion What Happens In Vegas.
It was the ones responsibility to keep the human race alive. The machines needed us as batteries. So this neo was dif. The 1st 5 chose to save Zion and repopulate it. This neo ended up saving trinity and choosing to do what he does in the third movie.
Some amazing movies I think you guys should check out are:
District 9, Inception, INterstellar, The Prestige, Momento, 12 Monkeys, The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, Rain Man, The Martian, Apollo 13,
Good Will Hunting. Also the newer Star Trek movies from 2011-2018. So that's a mix of great Sci-Fi and or drama with action sprinkled into them.
Hey guys my understanding of the breakdown by the Architect of what is happening is that Neo is a correction error within the Matrix program.
To solve the correction error the architect has alow the errors to accumulate into 'The One' Part of the correction error within the Matrix is that a certain percentage of people (say 1.8%) will wake up. The architect wipes the error by destroying Zion and Neo picks 23 people to take back with him to rebuild Zion and amass the correction error for the next reboot. The Architect has to present the decision by the one as a choice. Thus the need for two doors.
Great reaction and great debriefing interaction. As mentioned by several comments, there is one that inevitably appears with every version of a Matrix, an inherent anomaly of human nature. Over the versions, the machines have complexified their system to reduce the number of humans refractory to the Matrix and who wake up. How ? First of all by Choice, a theme which indeed appears from the first film. This is where a new program comes into play, a program which learns and stores an enormous quantity of information: Oracle Database. serves as small tools to collect or transmit information / data (cookies see first film in the kitchen) and cloud (see cigarette smoke). How does The Oracle know everything she knows. Because it benefits from the experience of the 5 previous versions plus all the other simulations it has been able to do outside of the Matrix to assess what choice such or such characters would make, including Neo and trinity. So, yes, the prophecy is a decoy, a way to bring together those who want to get out of the Matrix and a way to channel the effects of these people around a chosen being, The One (anagram of Neo) who is supposed to save the 'humanity. The Oracle doesn't want humans to die en masse, that's why she tries to find a balance of forces for a lasting peace (see third film), because machines need humans to function, but of course in the event of an irremediable anomaly, the machines would be ready to lose a large part of their energy sources, as the Architect points out.

The CGI is great, but at times it didn't add to the story (2nd half of the courtyard fight scene). I talked with many of my filmmaker friends back then and we agreed, the main technique the writers used to create tension in "Matrix Reloaded" was separate Neo from all the other humans and have them struggle. Since there was no obstacle that Neo couldn't overcome.
They made masks of the actor who played agent Smith & used cgi
I nvr understood why ppl didn't like Reloaded
There were not enough consequences for Neo in the sequels because he's so powerful too soon. For example In the"Matrix Reloaded" the writer could have added more weight to the plot, by having Agent Smith attack Neo in the courtyard while he's talking to the Oracle. Then it would scare us to death because Neo and Sarif had to protect the Oracle from Agent Smith and we would fear agent Smith's infection/power even more. Plus it could have given him the idea to go after the Oracle in Matrix Revolutions. In addition, cut that scene in half it went on for way too long.
